http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...=#qpr&utm_content=#qpr&utm_source=twitterfeed I implore various members of this messageboard who will spend much of the afternoon and summer putting the boot into Hasselbaink/Ferdinand/Hoos/Polter to read this.
Good man Wats...I was just about to post exactly the same thing........ I wouldn't hold my breath though.....
Presumably we still have this FL arbitration hanging over us. Be nice to get shot of that, so we could invest prudently over the summer.
Thanks Mate. Fundamentally a depressing read with a vague glimmer of daylight in the midst of the gloomy skies.
That is quite possibly Clive's best ever article. Burnley are everything we're not, and what a great opening paragraph ... ''Hello. Is this thing on? Is anybody still there? The penultimate chapter in the Never Ending Story that is the 2015/16 Championship season following QPR takes us to just about the worst possible place we could end up. Burnley. Soon-to-be-promoted Burnley. Burnley and their shiny new training ground. Burnley and their £30m profit. Burnley and their 21 match unbeaten run, stretching back to Boxing Day. Burnley and their fundamentally brilliant manager who kicked around on Sky Sports, available to hire for a pittance, after being harshly dismissed by Watford. Burnley and their notorious work rate and tempo. Burnley who were promoted and relegated at the same time as us and got healthier as we got sicker.''
It's a good article, but I think we are all running out of things to say about QPR. It has become traditional in recent seasons in these 'nothing to lose' games that QPR, rather than playing with freedom and joy, give up. And that is what I expect today. Remember the game against Leicester last season? It was a good job I had a few beers and good company that day.
Well some would have you believe it's all Ferdinand's fault and only Warnock and Jay Rodriguez can save us.
I see one of the "causes" has just taken a "player recruitment consultant" post at some unfortunate side in Australia, the poor sods.......
Clive's opening salvo is something we have been saying for a long time only he articulates better. Nothing new for me. As for Barton he has done a top job at Burnley and we have missed him.
