Sponsors and fans are not the same thing, best to not lump them together.

I don't even know how you'd get a message to them to arrange anything, barely anyone on any of the message boards is a corporate member, barely anyone on social media is either.

I'd concentrate on things are practical and achieveable.

That's a tad negative and dismissive to say the least. Perhaps someone in the trust or on these boards can find a way.

The point remains, that a combined response from them will make a louder noise to the Allams than from the rest of the ground. After all, the red card action was carried out by people who, the majority don't use social media and wouldn't have known about the protest before the night.

If 1,000's can be rallied, it can't be beyond the wit to get the smaller group to show solidarity in some way.

Cheers, like you, I don't know how it can be done, I've not even suggested what, but I'm a tad more positive, and a lot less dismissive.

I reckon quite a few should be glad of the opportunity to help as opposed to being thought of as supporting it.

The question was asked, what more can be done, I feel that it's one achievable action, that would have a big reaction from the Club, and also from fans.

I reckon someone reading could have an idea or two. How about a specific banner for one of the posh areas? It doesn't have to be massive, and it could be just one person taking it in.

The only way the current scheme will be reviewed, is if the numbers that sign up are massively down on the current number of pass-holders.

Banners and chants are all well and good, but unless they're backed up by a drop in sales, they'll simply be ignored.

We should find out by the end of this week just how far they've dropped, unless the club refuse to confirm the numbers.

I don't think that's the only way. If it was, then the red card protest is reduced in its effect.

There are some legal considerations too. Pressure from other clubs, and different groups could also have an influence.

I don't think the renewals will be affected enough to make the difference on their own. It needs approaching from a variety of angles to keep the pressure on. Time is not on the fans side, particularly if we look to be going up.

I still say that some action from the non-hooligan groups sends a strong message to both sides.

The final home game is the play-off game. The next game has no real importance, other than financial (to the club) and emotional (to the supporters). If a bit of an emotional sacrifice can't be called for then there's no real protest worth making, as it's a hollow one. I wouldn't expect it to be a huge success, I would expect it to gauge depth of feeling, which, it would appear, is superficial.

It's a sad thing that you constantly use a very **** situation for no other purpose than to further your petty and spiteful attacks on OLM. Grow the **** up. :emoticon-0118-yawn:

I think it's a little more complicated than that.

Rotherham is the final game of the normal season and I know of quite a few people that have decided it's their last game at the KC until the scheme is scrapped or amended.

There's also a great many who think that protests should not affect the team, so won't support a walk-out or boycott, despite disagreeing with the scheme and supporting the other protests.

Utter bollocks. I'm sure some would like to believe there's some truth in that, but it is simply bollocks. I never even mentioned OLM, I simply responded when he piped up. The issues are all his.

Do you think the posh boxes coming out in support of fans would have a large effect? It's a simple yes or no. The how can be considered later.

A fear of it having only limited impact is for me, the wrong reason to not try. There is no one size fits all, I think it needs approaching from several different angles, if nothing else, to keep it in the public eye.

I don't think you do. Go back and look at the last few exchanges to see who is responding to who. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    It's tedious and revealing.

Im up for pitch sit in

    Or a walk out

Anything that gets a mention in the media is fine by me

Rather we did something rather then nothing

I wont be at the play off home game

Though i will be at the away game hoping we get stuffed and in doing so keep the premier league only cling ons away from the club next season

I dont want anything to help this **** scheme work

I could go go back over the last few years and all I'd see is you routinely criticizing everything OLM ever says.

You could try just this thread. It amounts to the same when you look at who is responding to who.

Anyway, before yet another point gets too far diverted, do you think that the Allams are more likely to listen to the posh seats than the rest of the hooligans?
