Thanks valley but i just read the run down for that and its not something i would watch tbh, sounds like buffy the vampire slayer without Sarah michelle Gellar. i have been watching Mr Robot though, on the 6th episode now, very very good, if a bit depressing
Finally watched star wars. Lol how the **** did that girl get so powerful. An alright watch but so many plot holes and that death star 2 is ridiculous as its a multi planet destroyer from a billion miles away. Also are we to presume han solo is anakins son too which means him and leia had incest sex?
You missed the best bit. The bit that everyone seems to have overlooked because they're so distracted by just how tediously ridiculous the film is... The whole premise of the film is, that for some ungodly reason, everyone is searching for Luke (which is such a fcking weak motivation for a film , but anyway let's continue) because he will "bring balance and restore order to the force", yet good old Luke senses fck all during the destruction of 3 whole planets and their total populations, and later the death of his bezzy mate Han Solo who he's spent 3 films side by side, through thick and thin, fighting the Empire? Really?? Really, that all makes sense to JJ Abrams? At no point did someone think to ask, "Errrm JJ, don't you think Luke and his Jedi powers, might sense some **** is going down and this wise mystical old Jedi knight might feel the urge to return and help his friends and family out? And if he doesn't do it now, then what the fck more reason is there for him to do so afterwards? And isn't he a bit of a **** if he doesn't?" It insults the intelligence of anyone who appreciated the original films and any modicom of a semi-decent script tbh.
When was it implied Han was Anakins Son? I did think the destruction of the Old Republic planets was heavy handed, Abrams decided he didn't like it so had destroyed in a 2 minute scene. But Abrams has always been heavy handed, just look what he did to Star Trek, didn't like the old show and timeline so had it destroyed and started his own. How do we know he didn't. Luke didn't say a word in the film, nobody knows his motivations yet. My main problem was how wooden Carrie Fisher is, she's never been a good actress but she's gotten worse with age.
Star wars 1. The girl is ridiculous by the end. 2. Dunno what you are on about with Han. 3. Fisher and her botox was unreal. 4. Luke... who gives a feck.
When ren was worshipping his evil sith grandfather who's carcass was a very familiar looking darth vadar helmet. The only thing i could be wrong about is that wasnt darth vadars helmet (was half melted)
Spoiler I think my theory was confirmed in this episode. Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targareyn and Lyanne Stark. He is the prince that was promised
Spoiler: Spoiled brat so 1. Bran sees the aunt in his vision. This is probably key going forward. He will see it all. Decent reintroductioj 2. The king mans up. about time. The brute just shows a little brutishness to wet the appetites 3. The priest shows his true intentions and Jamie shows his. 4. The dragons and tyrion is a great little scene. 5. The fat stark story is moved on a bit which is needed in TV. 6. The witch shows some actual acting talent. Well done that hag. 7. The giant is back, he's great. 8. Jon snow gets wash and a haircut, he needed that. Bit puffy to fall asleep in the middle of it but hey at least he's less scruffy now 9. Oh and Bolton.... well the father was a fool. What did he expect when the baby was born... it's a classic threat so the new lord Bolton did what anyone would expect. Woof Woof. 10. Iron islands, good reintroduced characters there theon the dickless will not find home do appealing. 11. Sansa. .meh ... the kerstark or whatever he's called was more important this episode. We've seen him line squarely up with Bolton and it'll be vital later. So.... packed episode with lots of good stuff. The priest and the witch, plus the old fella were really good acting performances that raises it from just plain good to a classic.
Spoiler The introduction of Euron Greyjoy was brilliant - he's the one that threw Balon over the bridge. In the books he's an absolute monster. The Tyrion + dragon scenes were superb. There's theories on the net that he's possibly the 3rd Targareyn along with Jon and Daenarys (who I didn't miss in this episode at all). I think we'll get the Tower of Joy scene next week where Bran will see Ned promise Lyanne that he'll keep hers and Rhaegars son (Jon) safe. The question is, how long will it be before Jon Snow finds out about his true heritage. The best scene though was that idiot shooting Wun Wun and him splattering him against the wall
