2 draws, a win and goal difference will do it for us,no way will the Mags win their last 2.

I still think we'll stay up. The mags have a bit of form but I think they'll blow it. They were bloody awful first half against Palace, nervous as hell.

We haven't lost in 8 now I think.

The Villa game is key. If the mags don't win, I think we'll be good.

    Bloody doom monger!

We won't lose any of them. The issue is whether the mags beat Villa!

There has been an issue every week. We need to beat (insert team name) and need mags and norwich to lose.

Check out how many goals Defoe (our only real hope of goals) have been at home.

We are in a corner no doubt about that, we have lost a bit of the spark we saw in the games before the Stoke match, a point was more than we deserved, the Mags are the worry, I have said all season they had the best squad we had the best manager, Raffa has turned them round and they look strong to me, the money Big Mike has spent this season is begging to look like a sound investment, and circumstances have conspired to given them an easier run in, hate to say it but imo we must win our next game or we are as good as down.

Business time now Comm....yes Defoe can add to his tally but we have goals all over the park. Clearly Borini and Khazri are due. With the next two games at home hopefully the emphasis on these two guys....or the need for these two guys to track back will be less so leaving them further up the park. I think also we will see Larsson starting in the next two games....Sam wasn't impressed with Catts keep giving the ball away. Borini should play left....Larsson right and put Khazri just in behind Defoe in the middle. With Seb taking free kicks this brings added danger from Kone and Kaboul on set pieces. PVA has a goal in him too.....just need for the other players to step up and Defoe out. I can see us beating Chelsea and the Nags getting beat at Villa leaving us one hell of a game against Everton. It's in our hands with three games to go.....what more could we want....haway the lads!!!!

Found it very difficult to hold back my emotions when sitting in the Stoke end when we scored..
Other Sunderland fans, sitting in the same section as me, who I didn't know had already recognised me as a Sunderland fan, and during the course of the game the Stoke fans next to me had a good idea that I was a Sunderland fan which I confirmed to them when we scored when I shouted "get the **** in". Got out without any problems though..

I can't believe anyone thinks for one second the mags won't smash Villa. Nailed on that one imo.

It's been the weirdest season ever! Nothing's nailed on this season.

Villa winning is highly unlikely, but a nailed-on mags win, I don't think so.

Smug NEVER comes on here anymore RAW. Can't think why you'd post that <whistle>

But next time you see him, tell him to get back on here. It's overdue!

I look in mate, for the decent lads like you and RAW, but I won't be back on.

The likes of Comm and the people who's arses he licks have ruined it imo.

As soon as he invited the GC tossers, ACS and the Mags to join in his tedious patter it was dead.

ACS has killed the Mag board and, like Comm, starts and finishes almost every thread.

They fill it with this repetitive infantile faux mocking 'banter' which means every thread ends up the same.

I hope it recovers, for the sake of lads like you, but when Comm wants the board to be all about him and his likes it has no chance.

I used to love the board and did my best to help drive it along but Comm's endless drivel finally did it for me.

    All the best lads.

Exactly. The fixture planners/computer that threw some of the past few matches and upcoming games must be loving themselves. The most unexpected teams fighting for end of season results right up to the end.

We have interacted very little over the years as I'm not a great poster. You on the on the other point brought a huge amount of passion and insight to our board. This is an opinionated forum. We all will never agree but that's what sparks the interaction and debate. I thoroughly enjoyed all your posts as I do and did with the likes of Cest, Bri, Comm, Billy and all the other excellent posters. We want Sunderland to always have their best team on the park and likewise from my point of view for the Sunderland part of this board have the best posters on here. We all have one thing in common is that we love our crazy football club. It's driven me mad for over 50 years now. My drink problem I solely blame on every game I have had to endure over that time but honestly would we have i any other way. I think there was a picture of you at the Arsenal game at the end of last season....brilliant....but doesn't that prove we are all as mad as hatters? I can't speak for everyone on this site but hope you will reconsider and you will be back on going "balls for glory" with your posts....take care mate...haway the lads!!!!
