every village needs a idiot but.... When you invest £3 mill in a player, you need to give him time to settle, get used to how his new team plays and what the boss expects. To come from non league / league 2 and league 1 to the next league about in probably a short period of time - his fitness, strength and all round game will need to improve. He will come good. Just think, we are all after the next Jamie Vardy, Ian Wright, Sir Les - those players needed time to work on all the above. To read that someone thinks we should sell for £500k after investing £3 mill is mad absolutely mad. Give the boy a chance, in JFH's team and not one he inherited and let's see what happens. Finally, Sir Alex - it took him 3 years to get his Man U team the way he wanted it and it may have been a lucky FA Cup win that started a run but 27 years later and how many trophies? Not saying we will win the Premiership - we have to win promotion first but let's start to put the foundations in place first. Also, financial fair play fine still hanging over our heads.
I said when we signed him that I was unconvinced, if you took out his recent good form for posh over 16 or so games then prior to that he was a below average goalscorer everywhere other then the very lowest levels, paying £3m for him was crazy IMO, he does look like he may have something there but I can't see it as a prolific goalscorer, let's hope he picks up a bit next season and does something....anything really!!
the only thing that can save us is a managerial change we need a proven manager not les frerdinand and his two paper boys, ferdinand failed to bring in gerry francis or neil warnock simply because they had no faith in him and in seeing his signings of washington and polter im begining to see why redknappp left the club.,the only possible result again the last two clubs is a loss or a draw thats because jimmy floyde cant manage hes out of his depth
les ferdinand was bid 12 million for austin but hesitated and we lost 8 million then he loses 3 million on washington the mans either very unlucky or cant do his job
It's more than a little strange how little game time JFH has given him. Surely he could have started more as one of the three behind Polter, especially with Phillips looking so poor.
stroller you amaze me we are drifting into oblivion and your too frightened to question the managers in this world its about being brave enough to make harsh decisions and not being frightened to hurt ferdinands feelings les has got enough money if we out him its not the end of him but to keep him after his two last managerial choices is futlile
when we signed Ferdinand from Hayes, he had to go to Turkey for a year to earn his stripes. Give Conor a chance
Geoff we are not on here to try to nauseate you we are trying to save our club, and its basically ferdinand v warnock so at the moment warnock is winning and me and facto are correct but next season jeff you may be able to give us a load of abuse as ferdinand leads the division so ,so geoff you should know by now football is a funny game lets see whos right next season but dont get me wrong it would be easy yto join the ferdinand love club if qpr start to perform but im genuinly worried that our club may well be another charlton athletic who were brilliant under alan curbishlingly but unable to get any good managers when he left and they may well keep drifting in the lower divisions forever but look at brentford the result of managerial brilliance of warburtan has pushed there whole club forward and even though he has now left they are still punching above there weight, you mustnt take facto seriously hes a typical multi millionair hes very much on the constant wind up but he does care about qpr
