She doesn't feel she has to explain anything. This statement is typical lawyer-speak. It's not an actual lie, just a very evasive dishonest answer to a question she didn't like. It's the way she talks all the time, although to be fair that isn't very often. When you couple that with a complete ignorance of football and carte blanche to do what she likes from a deluded rich owner, you've got a continual decline ahead unless there is a change of ownership. It's not just the staff leaving, it's the difficulty in recruiting good staff as well, eg Phil Chapple still hasn't been replaced- who would want the position under this regime?
