I just have a bad feeling about everything. If we don't get promotion (and I don't hold out much hope that we will) then I think the Allams will think they have pumped enough money into the club, they have paid wages to players who have the ability to get us up but have mostly not performed well so they will sell whoever they can and will not bother replacing them or if they do it will be bargain basement players.

Where did I say it was a minor sideline? Or were you saying the football was a minor thing, as I certainly didn't? They did hit lucky (if you insist on using that term) or so they thought, as they were well ahead of their own 3 year plan. But aye, it was a good result (to use my words correctly) for Steve Bruce and the team on the football pitch; but their real plan, the true money-spinner, their secondary business to generators, that of the ground's development, was rapidly causing them anger and frustration, making their true character shine through. It's never stopped shining through since, although the shine has a hint of Chernobyl about it, as it could be some time before it ceases to be a problem.

It's always interesting how you change things, mess with words, tweak with the edge of honesty, just to create your unnecessary arguments.

Your £80M was a half-decent stab at a price, Chazz could have given you some credit for having a go - in a better way. <ok>

Hoping for a huge show of anger against the vile scheme in our last game against Rotherham.

    Any plans yet ?

I'm not sure exactly what, but something clear and specific from the corporate area could send a loud message.

A boycott of the final home game of the season is not going to generate enough support to be anything other than self defeating.

Neither is expecting a protest from the only people in the ground not effected by the new scheme (though individual members are taking action of their own).

I'd expect something similar to Brentford, the bigger issue is what happens in the play-off games, where there's a large TV audience thrown into the mix.

Surely a show of solidarity from the people wheeled out to support the name change would have an impact on the Allams.

It does impact on them, even if they like the thought of being in a stadium where the only emotions are negative. Surely they're City fans too?

I'm not sure if you're mixing up sponsors with corporate fans, as I don't remember being wheeled anywhere or anyone claiming I supported anything.

I'm sure there are plenty of corporate members who support the protests, some were holding up cards at the Brentford game, others went far further.

Not so much mixing them up, as just lumping them together, but the point remains the same, they are a voice that the Allams listen to, so a specific show of support and solidarity from them can only add to the pressure, and possibly speak louder than just the noisy hooligans.

If what you say is correct, it's not such a big step to get some sort of specific message from them to the club, and to fellow City fans.
