I reckon a lot of lads are in a see no evil hear no evil rocking back and forth kind of pose going la la la right about now.

If we beat villareal it'll be a monumental result. Lads are acting like it's no big deal.

Sturridge should keep his feelings to himself until after the biggest game of the season instead of whoring himself out to other clubs.

'There are things I want to achieve with Liverpool,' he told The Mirror. '[But] I would never say I am Liverpool until I die, because I would be lying.

'I think any player who says, "Oh yeah, this is the only team I will play for, for the rest of my life", they are deluded. In football, every team looks for replacements every single year.'

'Suarez has done incredibly since going to Barcelona, and you know, I still have to believe that is my destiny too.

'I don't doubt it, I don't doubt the plan… I've been through a lot, but I feel like I am a new, improved version of myself.

'I'm feeling so good right now, feeling great, and my body is at a level where I'm able to play however many games a week repeatedly and not break down.'

Yeah mate, you ain't Barca material and you only feel good right now due to LFC's/Klopp's patience with you and the club sending you to America etc to get fit.

Can't really fault anything he says there, specially the bit highlighted.
Who say's he isn't Barca material, Suarez looked totally out of his depth until they taught him how to fit into the team, look at him now.

I never said he hadn't got the right to speak or have an opinion, I said a few days before our biggest game of the season isn't the right time to say it.

Your point on Suarez is testicular waffle, Suarez was world class before he signed for Barca and he fitted nto our team so good we almost won the title which in the most part was down to him.

If you watched Barca when he first joined you would know that for 2 months they virtually played with 10 men, he didn't fit in and they bypassed him for most of the moves. Once they taught him to read what was happening around him he became a much better player.
He was great for you because he was the team, everything was geared towards him and he dictated play/moves. I am in no way decrying the guys ability, just saying he was not the finished article when Barca got him.

If you watched Suarez when he first joined Liverpool you'll know that it was us having to fit his system rather than the other way around, Barca already had a winning system and Suarez had to fit into it which he has.
And anyway I was talking about Sturridge not Suarez.<grr>

I actually think Sturridge would be more suited to Madrid than Barca. Not saying he is good enough for either, just that Madrid would get more out of him.

Tbf even though hes bagging a lot i feel that the barca boys dont really trust him that much. Always to messi and messi to neymar. Yes they set him up sometimes but the amount of times i see suarez in space or make an awesome run not to receive the ball is criminal

Yep, there is still a trust issue there and today was a good example of why. It was a tight game and they put 4 on a plate for him, he blew 3 of them badly.

TBF though, at first it was more a case of moves breaking down on him as he tried to take players on when a pass would have been the better option.

Sturridge should stfu and get on with improving his form and staying fit having now been out for more games than he's played. ****ing liability and a gobby one at that. 25 mil to a foreign club and I'd take it to be honest. His attitude has always been lousy

    What's wrong with his form?
When doing interviews do you want him to say "no comment"?
I take it you think Origi is going to be as good/better than him.

He's still a shadow of his former self and during interview I expect him to show some respect after the patience we've had for him.

As for think Origin. Maybe. but that won't be for a long while yet, he's only 20 and still has a way to go.

Shadow of his former self <yikes> how many games has he played.
Where did he disrespect your club, he gave an honest assessment of a footballers life, one we all know is true even though we may like to think different.
I am not getting at Origi in any way, he could be sensational in the future (like I hope Rashford could) but at the moment it is too soon to expect him to take Sturridge's place.

    Of course not

Suarez played on the wing to placate messi at firstfirst but then messi moved out of centre and the trifecta has been born. Anyone seeing the three celebrate goals shows what the actual truth is.

Frankly messi binned 3/4 strikers INCLUDING VILLA out to left wing but suarez is the one he moved for. Messi appreciates what suarez brings and the goals prove it.

    End of...

When Suarez first joined he didn't fit their style 100%. He would make runs and the others just weren't picking up on it, after a few months things started the click and the runs he was making gradually opened space for Messi to play in.

Suarez has adapted his game to fit but Barca have also adapted theirs. I think the biggest compliment can give is that Messi compromised a small part of his game to the benefit of Suarez, that's how much respect and trust they al have for each kther.

Far and away the greatest front 3 I've seen

Its as simple as putting them all in right areas to perform in and yes a brief period of getting to know each other.

Once suarez went no 9 it all clicked but importantly he's played to messi and not been greedy so messi being no small ego doesn't feel threatened or serving him.

    All about work rate too.

And yes I'd agree in terms of a 2 or 3 man forward line I've never seen better going back to 1980's.
