    It'd be nice for Newcastle to do it, I think. Sunderland have been hanging on for a while now, Norwich aren't up to it (I don't think, anyway) and if they did stay up, I think Newcastle under Benitez could be pretty interesting. So long as he's backed in the market. Which, I think, he will be.

    Come on Norwich! We have all written them off, but wouldn't it be magic if they can nab 3 points this evening.
    Imagine the league next season with Watford, B'mouth, Swans, Norwich, Palace. The Championship would look more daunting! <laugh>

    Also it'd be good if the media's love for Allerdyce being able to keep any team up was reduced.

    Might mean we don't have to see him arrive somewhere each January to promote 'boring but effective' football

    They will also need an actual transfer strategy this time round. But they do have a little bit to build on there. If they can stay up that is.

    Transfer strategy: buy a defense. Do that, and I think they would be reasonably competitive next year.

    I also have a soft spot for Norwich, but they're lacking so much...I'm not sure that survival this season would mean much more than relegation the next. Newcastle at least has a group of talent that could kick on (or be entertaining if they melt down again in a year's time).

    I believe that Cherry (SN) are second in the Fair Play League to Arsenal, last Season that may have got them in to the Europa qualifiers, it is not the case this year is it?

    Some Arsenal fans protest with 12 minutes left to play because it's 12 years since they won the league. We'd all have to arrive way before the match started if we wanted to protest on those standards

    Recommendation: track down the NBC feed of tomorrow's Man U - Leicester match. Sure many here already know this, but NBC's lead commentator, Arlo White, is a lifelong Leicester fan. He has been a consummate professional in calling their matches up to this point, but I'd be shocked if he holds it together should they find themselves winning.

    Really not so sure about that. The Championship is a bitch to get out of (the right way, that is). Unless you're Saints of course.:)
