I'm not a Bruce enthusiast but I stand by what I said today, incredible bad luck when Akpom hits the bar and line then they go and get a scrappy goal as a sucker punch. Again not Bruces biggest fan but he has to rest players and get them ready for the play-offs. A lot of overreaction on here today.
Snoddy hitting the bar was bad luck! But how many chances does akpom need? That's not bad luck it's just bad!
As has been said on here before, hitting the woodwork is a miss not bad luck, when you're 8 yards out with the goal gaping its a bad miss!!!
Nope! Hitting the woodwork from outside the box is bad luck (snoddy) crashing the ball against the bar with goal gaping is just BAD.
Also akpom's scared to put his face in when the boots are flying about! Basically he needs to grow some balls!
Akpoms headed miss was poor, no argument with that. Players get a lot of stick on here for missing chances but its more worrying for me when they aren't getting chances at all.
I don't think AA gives a flying **** at the moment re the manager, and if he is as ill as we are led to believe, he shouldn't be worried about the situation.
Like I said (thanks Peter Swan) that goal goes in off the bar then this debate doesn't happen. Akpom is getting the stick Clucas was a few months ago but there was nothing wrong with his application today, it was the execution on a couple of occasions. If they had signed a proper striker like they should have done at the right time we wouldn't be having this discussion either.
I would bet that Derby know more about Hull City than Bruce seems to do. He just seems to pick the team based on some random generator.
