Some people like being in a comfort zone. It's reassuring to know what the season holds from the outset. Who wants the drama of possible success or failure?

It could be worse than being perennially 3rd or 4th and CL last 16. Be careful what you wish for.

Saints comfort zone 7th-10th and it's reassuring for them to know that they will be spared any drama as they will win **** all :)

IQ87, I understand that you're pissed off at the lack of progress at Arsenal and that you think a change of manager will fix everything overnight. However, your hatred of Wenger is irrational and also unbelievably ungrateful. If it wasn't for Wenger you wouldn't even be an Arsenal fan!

Out of interest who do you think should replace Wenger so you can win the league every season?

I didnt start supporting Arsenal because of Wenger, so your premise is wrong. Secondly, nobody is demanding we win the league every season, so another straw man. Yes, we are grateful for Wenger for the good years, now it's time to move on, very simple.

Stan loves Pixie, and spends every waking moment trying to get further and further up his arse, A87. It's a bizarre friendship, because I would have thought that Pixie is just the type of sneaky, double-faced toss-pot that a hard-nosed, grim-faced Northern bastard like Stan would have abhorred.

TBH he sounds as ******ed as the Wengerites at the moment, they make their own goal posts up, and then go from there, it's very bizarre.
