It never fails with that lot does it, get out of the bottom 3 play crap at Stoke who are crap and sneak a point (which to me will make no difference), they switch off again and Alladyce made pathetic substitutions, and are they detemined not win but draw every game ?, half the team should be dropped next week, they just strolled around and did not give a toss, pathetic. They keep frigging doing that though half the team not turning up, beat Chelsea then what ? switch off again hehe, we might has well gan down cause this lot are sick putting us through this season after season. What is maddening is this team is better than last season.

I take this is an emotional post but honestly - of honestly of course they care just they are not sharp enough - we had opportunities but failed to take them and their goal was very dodgy and we had a blatant penalty turned down. The point may be the one which keeps us up

Well After the Swans beat Liverpool 3-1 and can no longer get caught it comes down to Norwich,Sunderland and the toon. Two of those 3 teams will go down and at least one North east club will be one of them.....Which one? or could both go down...

Ha! I was just thinking yesterday, about three months ago we were talking about who would go down on here. Swans were fourth or fifth from bottom at the time, and I wrote 'Swansea's in free fall lately and look favourites for the drop to me'. Look at you yesterday! You absolutely murdered Liverpool in the first half. How the hell it was only 2-0 at HT I don't know. No argueing with that performance mate - well done to you. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Possibly : find out in 10 days
Definately : many teams are going to lose out in their home atmosphere not playing the best away supported teams in the prem - enjoy ......our :emoticon-0162-coffe:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0168-drink on hold

Aye true enough.. But then again it's great when teams like Swansea roll over for Newcastle then outplay a far superior team in Liverpool!

Just because Newcastle won and Sunderland had a draw this past weekend , don't lose the big picture here .
Newcastle can't go any higher , 17th is the best than can do . Sunderland could actually finish 14th .
A win and a draw from you're last 3 games keeps you up IMO.

If Newcastlle win their last two games a distinct possibility imo, we need seven points from our last three games, this could be a problem, only time will tell, but the results you refer to have given a slight edge to our rivals, a lot depends on the attitudes of the teams we face, and our own ability not just to keep clean sheets but to turn draws into wins.

I've not seen a single live game this year, with not being back in the North East for any home games, and away tickets for the Midland games not getting to general sale, but I will be getting a fix of live football next week by going to Villa Park to cheer on the vile against the barcodes. Hopefully we can be out of it again next weekend.

Thanks Redandwhite for that. The truth is we get out of the bottom 3 the players then switch off and drop back, then decide we need to get back out the bottom 3 then either get win or draw, Christ I hope we are in the bottom 3 before we go to Watford or we are gone, this mentality is pathetic and Sam cannot even see it, and no one from the club would say we were crap at Stoke !, I say the truth so what's wrong with that , we were great at Norwich and won 3-0 so brilliant. Sam is playing the wrong team and has done for the last 8 matches the one win in 8 speaks for it's self. I bet you anything that if we go to Watford out of the bottom 3 we will lose. And I bet they will hoof the ball down the pitch in the first half against Chelsea.

If the barcodes can get a point against Villa I believe they are home. We would need a win or 2 draws. Villa haven't won in their last 10 outings and have only scored 7 goals BUT 4 of those goals came in their last two games. They have conceded 26 goals but the barcodes have only netted 8 in the same period. I firmly believe, especially on their last 2 games where they had Watford on toast but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, that Villa have one good game left in them and hopefully it will be this weekend. I am hoping that they will win this one 2-0 or maybe 2-1 and we can get a draw from one of our last three.

I would be ok now with Newcastle only picking up a point at Villa, then it all depends on Totttenham's line up and attitude, they played very poorly against Newcastle last time and payed the price, if they think back this was probably the game that cost them the title chance. They were too fired up last night and it cost them again, a calmer but determined Tottenham (who would beat us or the Mags nine times out of ten) is what is required, anything less and we are in trouble, can we take 5 points from our last three games, this is a very tall order imo. But then you look back to our game at Norwich and back flows the hope its driving me mad. :emoticon-0140-rofl:
