Berghaus has changed the game for us its that simple plus Troy's goals. But someone has looked after us today because we were really dire and the sending off was so harsh on Villa. Qsf has got lucky with that result really lucky. But wins are wins and Troy would love that so much 3 goals this season against the Villa. Berghaus man of the match he made that much of a difference. Troy can score goals in this league if you give him quality service.

Looking at the stats - it just shows how bad Villa really are. We dominated possession, had 18 shots at goal to their 7, played like a bunch of snails on lethargy pills - and still beat them.

Let's hope QSF unleashes his attacking brand of football for the last three games - that game was simply atrocious.

Bloody Nora - I didn't think he was that good. Spent a lot of time passing to the opposition, getting caught in possession and slipping over. Are you sure?

Dreadful, and the win doesn't cover that up.

QSF got out of jail today. I don't understand whats happened. Early in the season he proved his tactical nouse but lately its blatantly obvious we need to play Berghaus and Amrabat and indeed give Ibarbo or Oulare a shot... More going on behind the scenes than I can fathom.

We got rid of Ibarbo some time ago - but, yes, give Oulare a run for the last three games - and/or Jakubiak. And I still think Guedioura is the best crosser of the ball we have - he should be playing out wide and giving the front men the service they need.

Can't disagree there. Igahlo has been found out and is currently a passenger. No harm in giving Oulare a start now we are mathematically safe.

Indeed I'm asleep!! Jakubiak then, gotta give youth a chance sometime and no mathematically safe and hardly any upside chances might as well...
Manager aside what will the side look come fall.

    Deeney leaves Villa feeling Blue
    Watford 3-2 Aston Villa

    Posted at11:05
Watford skipper Troy Deeney is happy. As you would imagine for someone whose two goals earned a late win. Against his boyhood team's biggest rivals.

"It took a while for us to get going, but we got a great victory in the end," says the Birmingham City-supporting striker.

"Credit to Villa, they scored two decent goals. We were poor, we can't hide from that, but in recent weeks we have played well and not got results. I'm a firm believer in that it always works it way around again.

"My best friend - a Blue - would have been loving that - he told me to stick it to Villa."

Honest from the skipper, as usual...

    Phew!

    Bet Troy enjoyed that!

We didn't play at all well until a bit of width came on.

Usual pattern of play up till then - and poor defending.

Pleased Berghuis came on and made a positive impression.

There were pictures of Gino Pozzo sat with Scott Duxberry on my stream. Judging by the body language they were not happy. When you have gone out and spent £4.5m on Berghuis to find that he doesn't even make the bench some weeks has to be a worry for them. Gilmartin was asking for Suarez to be pulled off as he believes he is not thinking quickly enough. I had to agree.

Behrami and Holebas not even in squad too.

There must be some unrest amongst the squad.

Listen to his speaking, I am a translator and interpreter.

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36178966

He is easily on the CEFR a C1 pushing C2 English speaker so I professionally doubt that...Linguistically, he is as good as our points total suggest. ;)

Suarez is too slow on the ball for the league ATM

He'd almost be better playing against one of the supposed top teams who aren't so physical/quick to tackle.

How different would it have been if Watson's shot at 0-0 had dipped under the crossbar instead of hitting the top? According to Kamara, we were in control at the beginning, but were so dominant we started to get sloppy and a couple of minutes later we were 1 down.

It was just unfortunate Villa scored straight after half time.

A bit like Palace last week it gave them something to hold onto and we trying to pass through them which didn't work - hardly helped by some very poor performances from Jurado and Paredes.

As said Berghuis and Amrabat provided some threat and looked up for the game at least.

YOU misunderstood my point. It was in reference to Yorkshirehornets post 54 "tactics" and was a tongue in cheek answer to that only and not ment to be taken seriously in any other context. :emoticon-0111-blush

Yes, definitely a bit lucky there. Not seen a replay but I thought the sending off was spot on. Thought Anthony Taylor did OK especially considering his last effort at the Vic. Suppose a bit of luck today makes up for bad luck for the losses at home v City, Spurs and Utd?
