Players perceived antagonism towards owners does lead to underperformance on the pitch, Villa and Newcastle being two prime examples. Our promotion contenders do not have this distraction. The best chance of new owners will come on returning to the Premier League so why embark on 'Allams out' at this critical stage? Stick to campaigning against the scheme, which even Steve Bruce has said is something he does not agree with and probably therefore has dressing room support and wait and see where we are with everything after the play-offs. As the old adage says, 'there is a time and place for everything' and now is not the time for Allam out campaigning.

You seriously think Villa and Newcastle are struggling because of the protests?

It shouldnt make any difference but i think if you give a footballer an excuse for losing then they'll take it.

I dont think the Allams want to sell but if a seriously large offer came in then they would. I just doubt there is any offers.

In case of Newcastle they have had several years of this and have had some quality players underperforming

It is difficult to find buyers in the Championship and the more crowds drop the less attractive we will be as the Allams will soon find if we don't go up and they carry on with this scheme stupidity.

Come on.much as I like Steve bruce the man.as time has gone by I have got so bored by his tactics.i rarely enjoy the football at city these days. But it won't be a problem as I'm not going next season.i will be back as soon as the scheme is scrapped though.

I dont think all these red card protests are going to alter anything.
Only people not turning up at the King Kong stadium will jolt anybody into action.

Expect about 12000 at the most next season.this will reduce because of the lack of enthusiastic young supporters. As the older quieter fans become the norm.
Unless we go up of course. Then it will put that off a season or two

Some of us oldies are noisier than many of the younger fans who are not very enthusiastic or demonstrative compared to a lot of other clubs.

It seems it's only hard to find buyers when the seller doesn't want to find them. Clubs who are in serious financial difficulty or administration always find a buyer. City has changed hands several times in its history but never whilst competing in the Premier League. It's an Allam fallacy that we have to get promoted to be sold. It didn't take this long to find a buyer even when we were at our worst financially. If they really wanted out they'd be gone. What he actually meant is I'll go within 24 hours as long as I get the exact deal I want and nothing less.

I think you are well wide of the mark there.
Allam has actually gone on record as saying he will would give it away for nowt if the name change did not go through, so no one need bother looking in Poundland for it. Just ring him or his lad at Melton and ask for it.
