When I did my back in and was confined to bed for a few years I saw every soap opera made by man. The infuriating part was when one of them got to an exciting part I was told that the series had been discontinued and they put another one on. I got Pay TV eventually and was able to watch any number of old movies and some newer ones as well as the eternal documentaries. The real pleasure was Premier League Soccer and although I have never been (nor ever will be) a fan of 'Possession Football' and 'Sideways Soccer' it was of some relief before I was able to get out of bed and make those first shaky steps to the long road to recovery - which took me another 4 years. (That's when you find if your wife loves you or not because my wife had to do just about everything for me for a while and she could have so easily taken the easy way out). Otherwise, my yearly delight was (wait for it) The Euro-vision Song Contest! I sympathize with anyone confined to bed these days and would encourage you to get into "Football Manager" or something similar although there are Football Message boards like these for instance where everyone is some kind of Dorothy Dix.
I don't actually have a TV license anyway because I can't stand 99% of it. I occasionally watch something on catch up but aside from that I am happy with netflix and my wall of box-sets.
Thats nice. If i wanted a ****ing life story,id read the ****ing bible or koran. All equally as ****ing boring.
