I was cleaning out my spare room last night and found my SEGA megadrive ultimate collection for the PS3. Some good games on it like Sonic The Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe but missing quite a few classics. Some of my favourites were Sunset Riders, Skitchin and Robocop vs Terminator. What were your favourites?
.. Double Dragon was class, and also I remember paying £45 (!! back in the early 90's) for a game called Eternal Champions .. sort of a mortal kombat style fighting game .. the cover and reviews made me think it would be the best game ever .,. turned out to be **** and I was crap at it .. and there was no such thing as trade in then so I was kind of stuck with it .. Also had those Madden NFL games .. was a big thing back then with C4 starting to show the NFL .. can't stand it these days
Was more of a MasterSystem kinda guy. Sonic 2 for the MasterSystem I maintain to be among the top hreee games ever made. Alex the Kid was epic also. However Streets of Rage for the MegaDrive did bring me hours of fun
Italia 90, such a game. I liked the ice hockey games too. I remember when we first got it for Xmas the games were Fantasia and some Ducktales game. We were kinda raging we didn't have Sonic until my granma handed it over later that night.
Did anyone have an Atari Jaguar? I got given one as a cast-off by my uncle (he was constantly upgrading - he even had the Amiga CD32 ) when I was about 15/16, and it was class. I had Aliens vs Predator, Doom, Sensible World of Soccer and Castle Wolfenstein
I remember getting a hooky game gear and TV tuner off my older brother. Had it for about a month before I got bored of it and sold it on for more than I paid for it to a gullible neighbour.
Italia 90 class - no fouling in it if I mind right. Also, the best platform game on the Master System (pre-Sonic) was Psycho Fox - well underrated
