This from todays prezzer - 'We have to beat them because we are still in the [top four] race. We cannot allow them to be champions this weekend at Old Trafford,' Van Gaal said. 'They shall be champions a week later. We don't spoil the party, only postpone it a little bit. 'The players we are now playing are not used to being champions. I don't think [Matteo] Darmian is used to it - De Gea was never a champion.' Why does he always talk out of his ar5e - what about De Gea, Jones, Carrick, Rooney, Smalling, Valencia and Young
Jones and Young also won it that season, Smalling and Valencia were there in 2011, and Rooney and Carrick both have five titles and a CL winners' medal. Rooney and Carrick have as many league and CL wins as Chelsea for ****'s sake, how can they not be used to being champions?
Clearly we don't have anything like the required number of PL Champions medals in our squad compared to say, Leicester.
Tbh in a couple of weeks Leicester will probably have more PL winners medals in their squad than we do...
And now it's our fault folks, the fans expectations are too high ............. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-media-for-manchester-uniteds-mediocre-season
"We are in the final of the FA Cup and we are in the race in the last match - mathematically we can qualify ourselves still. How many clubs can say that?" "Of course you can say Manchester United need to be champions - yes, I know, the expectations are like that, but I don't think that is realistic. "And I have said I shall be here, that is my opinion, so the board has to decide if it is like that. That is a different way of looking to the situation."
Imagine being a United player listening to **** like that in the dressing room day in day out. Fcking hell.
