There's always a convenient player who doesn't play for your own club who if you had signed for you "definitely would have won titles". I'm sure if we'd not signed Sanchez he'd also be one of these elusive players.
Well fair enough. In my estimation, the players he inherited and deserve most of the credit for our domestic success. These guys were managers on the pitch and did not need much to get them up for a game. Arsene brought in his own players who had to see the culture in the team and matured in character. Since Arsene had to rebuild from scratch you could see his own character in the teams he's built. You could finally see the real Arsene. A great mind with little street smarts. Lots of skill and technical nohow but feeble and wimpy. That can only get you so far (4th). I don't trust him to bring the characters necessary to push all the talent and skill over the edge to tangible success. Maybe if he gets help from someone else to identify these type of players, which we know he will not allow. So there you go. Controversial as this may sound: you want an example of a player that embodies Arsene's character - Mezut Ozil!!! He pushed the boat out to get him. Why? A guy in his image (it is a beautiful footballing image). I really hope people can see that this is not a dig at Arsene of Ozil. I have and will never INSULT these guys. EVER! Arsene is one of my favorite people in history. A great mind. And I have made clear on many occasion Mezut is one of the best footballer to play the game. This goes beyond stats, medals and achievements. Just on pure football intelligence and skill, he is unique. I would recommend kids to listen and improve their technical skills of the game from these 2. There are horses for courses. For me sadly, Ozil doesn't work in the current arsenal setup. He needs to be carried to an extent to get the best out of him. He needs muscle (goons, security, body guards, thugs, characters, etc) to succeed. Arsene cannot deliver us from this wilderness without goons, security, body guards, thugs, characters, etc.
He's right! the guys at the North Bank keep ball hugging and giving the ball away .Don't get me started on the Clock End's defending!
Well Wenger disagrees, he reckons the reason y'all don't challenge is because the home support has been ****, and too negative..... Did he seriously just claim this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36168345
This guy really is trying to put the final nail in his coffin isn't he? Still think he will stay next season?
