Positives.

1. Klopp now cannot afford to not go at Swansea and win

2. Klopp can now not afford to start at Anfield without a forward again.

3. They are nothing special going forward.

Negatives.

1. If you are defending out a 0-0 why did you expose your slowest cb injury time.

2. if you are defending it out... why can you not control the ball even a little.

3. No quality what so ever.... none.

4. They've done for Napoli and leverkusen like this. We will be very lucky to get past this lot at Anfield. They will put 10 behind ball.

 

Meh, don't let him travel if that's the case. Put Benteke on a bit earlier, we had no one up front, and the one person we really have who can produce that magic comes off and he opts for an out of form wide player, with no one to play off still as Firmino drops deep and moves to the right.

 

In a real European tie if a side got 0-0 away it was always you've got to be favorites in home tie.

Firmino did nothing that a striker would not have there.

I'm not gonna lie. I'd have taken 0-0. Psychologically its a decent result to build from in the home leg. We actually defended well for most of the game, but against counterattacking teams like villareal "most of the game" isnt good enough. A lack of dicipline at the end has changed the tie completely

 

Well, the story is Coutinho went off because he was ill. Maybe Sturridge has got what he's got.

 

Puzzling really , Klopp went for a draw IMO but once he seen The Spanish team wasn't having their best game , he should have taken a chance the last 15 minutes or so and had a go at the win.
