We absolutely can. It's the repetition of the same debate across dozens of pages in multiple threads that pisses us off. You'll notice that the first thing I did after the full time whistle on monday night was to head over to your board to congratulate you on a superb season and a job well done. No bitterness, no sour grapes. Very few posters on here have a problem with Leicester. The problem has been explained brilliantly by NKNG, one of our mods, above. The fact that you find it reasonable and indeed sane to come on here and for example take up 4 pages of a thread basically trying to convince a group of Spurs fans that Robert Huth is a better defender than Toby Alderweireld comes across as infantile at best, disturbingly obsessive at worse. You're entitled to state your case and defend your point, of course. But to do so pathologically when we clearly aren't going to agree with many things you have said is exceptionally annoying, simple as. If you cannot accept that then perhaps it would be the correct decision, instead of saying 'that is your problem', for our mods to say the same thing back to you and ban you from this board.
You came on here wumming away after the WBA game. You were pulled up about it then. I wonder how much of your own nonsense you would tolerate on your own board? As I've said before, try moderating your own behaviour before attempting to moderate that of others.
You post a comment claiming that you're not trying to deliberately annoy anyone and then end it in a way that's deliberately annoying. I find it hard to believe that you're oblivious to that. You're being intentionally provocative.
So what you're saying is that it's wrong of me to post reasoned arguments that support my views all because people keep responding? If you don't like what I'm saying (none of it has been the least bit offensive) then you're welcome to use the site's ignore function. That would be the sensible thing to do when you don't want to debate with someone, rather than responding? Surely that's obvious?
Your opinion of course, although I can't help but think that if you find " I'm here to debate with these people so if anyone can't hack that then I'm sorry but that is your problem" annoying then you might just have a problem This website has a fully function "ignore" filter. If people hated debating with me then I'm sure they're capable of using it.
Not at all - but when the response you are getting is essentially uniform and cited again and again, why bother persisting? The Huth v Toby example is such a good one because you didn't have a hope in hell of getting any of us to agree with your point of view yet you persisted for over 4 pages of infantile arguing. Can you honestly not see how or why we find that annoying? I don't do it on your board. As said, the only times I've set keyboard on your board were to congratulate you on qualifying for the CL after we beat United and again last weekend on basically winning the league. I don't go on there giving it large about how Dembele is better than Kante.
Can you tell me who I offended because I'd like to apologise. I might laugh at them for finding anything that I posted remotely offensive, but i'll say I'm sorry.
Why would that be remotely annoying? If I remember rightly it was the "Team of the Season" thread so surely the "X player is better that Y player" argument is bound to pop up.
"This website has a fully function "ignore" filter. If people hated debating with me then I'm sure they're capable of using it." It also has one that immediately applies to all denizens of a board. I'm sure moderators are capable of using it.
Last time I had to do it I went through the moderators boards. I wasn't aware that our powers had been boosted. Learn something new every day <OK>
Indeed it is. Making the same argument over and over again for 4 pages is not bound to come up outside of secondary school facebook groups. You know what, you're just doing it again and I'm trying to be all nice and polite and explain things in a balanced manner but here I am falling for your ****e yet again. You know what guys, f*ck it. Don't ban him. We should all collectively use this ignore function which I will now try to find, then he can spend entire threads arguing with himself.
The thread spread to 4 pages because every Spurs fan came to tell me how wrong I was. All I did was defend my corner and once people realised that my opinions wouldn't budge it got messy. Sorry, but you're over reacting.
