Mindy said that they all had dental work to improve their looks, which is wrong. Gable had dentures put in because he had severe gum disease, the fact that he looked better with them is a by product of him protecting his health. Watson had to wear them because a lot of her baby teeth had come out, who is to say that they " improved" her looks? Everybody loves seeing nine year old girls with their baby teeth missing, don't we?! Only Ramsay had the work done to improve his looks. Not that I am being pedantic, I just don't like people getting prizes for failure. Ponders, I think you should reconsider your distribution of prizes.

I've reconsidered the distribution of prizes - as requested by your good self - and have decided no change is necessary at this juncture.

In time, Gable's teeth would have fallen out, thus necessitating the need for dentures. Had he not had the dentures fitted, it is reasonable to suggest he would not have gone on to such fame and wealth. After all, no one likes to look at rotten, old gumbo features. In short, the dentures were fitted to avoid certain embarrassment and failure.

You've already touched on the Gordon Ramsey point.

Emma Watson's dentures were fitted for the sake of aesthetics. The director did not like the look of her gaps, and so decided to improve her features by way of false teeth. The decision may not have belonged to Miss Watson, yet the work was undisputedly carried out to 'improve her look'.
