    That's fair enough then.

We've obviously the nation's darlings. It's just that it appears to have put your nose out of joint.

    This just isn't true.
The first was for an accumulation of fouls and he was warned just beforehand.
That part of the game was descending into a clogging match, so the ref had to act.

The second was a blatant dive.
Refs have it hard enough without the manager of the national side defending abusive cheats.
Moss made the right decision and he's been slaughtered for it.

Poor old Vardy, getting caught diving.
Who can blame him for having a sweary rant at a bloke correctly doing his job?
    Walk on, Jap.

The only part of being the darlings I have a problem with is that I feel it's clouded the judgement of some in regards to defending the actions of Vardy while no one ever seems to comment on Huth's antics nor does he seems to ever get punished by refs for them, though he's been doing this all of his career in fairness. If Leicester weren't where they are, I don't think Vardy would have received the support he has from the likes of Hodgson and Linekar for cheating in the West Ham match, while questions marks can be raised over the first yellow (though loads of players have been booked for soft challenges and supposedly it was also for repeated miss-timed tackle), he cheated for the second and then abused the ref after being caught, he deserved the punishment he received yet you'd think it was an abomination if you were to side with some of the comments made in his defence.

When players do wrong they should be punished, simple as that, regardless of club/ player stature and league position. Alli's likely to get a three game ban, I don't see the same people defending him because he's young & naive and was targeted/ provoked by Yacob but I wouldn't want them to defend him, he'll deserve the punishment he gets and has to deal with and learn from it.

Einstein said "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." I'm pretty sure this wasn't what he had in mind.

Nobody has said that Vardy was right to abuse the referee or whatever.

Merely that you could see why Vardy was frustrated due to the harsh nature of the sending off. Every Leicester fan feels the same. He's absolutely wrong to abuse the referee but you could see why he was frustrated.

As for Alli, he punched Yacob for marking him out of the game. Yacob didn't do anything particularly wrong yet Alli responded by punching him. Which is why he'll get his ban, the same way Vardy did.

    Bullshit on both counts!

Vardy got exactly what he deserved for a blatant dive and for abusing the ref.

As for Yacob, he's a well known wind-up merchant and had been niggling Alli with petty digs and fouls for most of the game. Nobody minds fair marking, but he was sent out by Pulis to deliberately wind Alli up. Unfortunately, it worked.

Apart from the all game snide kicking and barging, nothing wrong at all.

But as we've said, this has brought to a head an issue that has been building all season, and
can now be corrected before it has Beckham-esque consequences for club and country.

Why do Leicester fans keep coming on our board to **** about Leicester and then get in arguments when we don't stand and applaud them like the rest of the country? If you're bored of ****ing eachother on your own board there are 18 other boards for PL clubs that will gladly accept you and even join in too.

Surely it must be obvious by now that we don't agree so either talk about something else or go on another board to discuss it. I don't care what your 2 week old opinion on Vardy's dive is, no one here does, the only reason you keep getting responses is because you're on our board. Stop derailing threads ffs.

No I don't see how he was frustrated with the ref, the only person he should be furious with is himself for trying to cheat and being caught doing so. It's not the first time Vardy's tried conning the ref like that either.

Alli was nudged and kicked throughout the game, even before his punch you can see Yacob barging him in the back knowing full well Alli has the temper to react. Alli should know better though than to retaliate, he's likely to be punished and rightly so.

Ban them all, NKNG. They'd lose their **** at not having the chance to speak on this board with sickening pro-Leicester gumf, £5 says they'd create new accounts <laugh>.

I'm not trying to get another board's mod banned again after the Piskie nonsense. The conversations we had to have over that makes Leicester fans arguing Vardy's innocence and acting like their team doesn't put PEDs in their pizza look positively thrilling <whistle>

The answer is to put them on ignore I only discovered the joys of this in the last couple of days, and there is no question that it works a treat, the threads do seem a little disjointed sometimes but that's a small price to pay

Edit actually its not a price to pay at all I knew whose post's I was missing and Its actually brilliant to not have read his continual drivel

Well said. I was on the brink of leaving the forum back in March, such was the extent that it had come to resemble the latter days of the old 606. It's two posters in particular who will spend 4-5 pages arguing the same point over and over again expecting different results and yes, it truly does ruin threads. At least people like SuckyKlopp and Arsenal87 are entertaining in their own special way. These guys are just plain annoying, simple as.

If people are having an issue with threads being derailed or repetitive arguments, then please feel free to PM the mods.
We'd rather have to do a bit of work than to lose decent posters.
Sometimes it's quite difficult to assess the mood about a comment or series of them and we'd appreciate any feedback.

Most members that annoy people are either doing it deliberately or they're quite oblivious to the fact that it's happening.
The latter normally respond well to a gentle nudge and we can deal with the others quite easily, too.

    Whoooahh, hold up.

I'm not trying to deliberately annoy anyone at all.

I signed up to this website (after BBC 606) knowing that there were posters from other clubs. I'm here to debate with these people so if anyone can't hack that then I'm sorry but that is your problem <ok>

I didn't initiate that debate, I can't seem to post on here without saying something like "yeah but Huth elbows everybody" or "Vardy dived".

Perhaps the lovely regulars of the Spurs forum would like to move on themselves? Just a thought like <ok>

    So in summary :

    - Vardy first yellow for persistent fouling, though the time the ref called it was not
    a foul

    - Vardy second yellow for diving.
And shown to have form on it (Rafael incident vs Man Utd) .

<move along, nothing to see here>
