I really think we can and should beat them comfortably, and I hope we thrash them. If we can get our GD down it can be as worthy as another whole point. I think Sunderland will probably stay the same as they are now, not scoring much or conceding.

We have two good opportunities with Palace probably resting for the cup and nothing to fight for in the PL, and Villa already relegated and looking dreadful. I believe we can improve our GD by at least 5 or 6, and maybe Sunderland will lose heavily to Chelsea.

 

I'm so loveable that nobody hates me and must not be classed amongst the general populace... obvs

 

This game will be a lot tougher than some people seem to think, especially with our opponents having a genius at the helm.
Cabaye will fancy putting one over on us as well.

Personally I cant see Pardgod resting too many of his first choice XI with the Cup Final over 3 weeks away.
More likely to put out a strong team to win the game, putting relegation fears to an end once and for all and build confidence.

Still believe a 2-1 win is on the cards, but, it will be nervy.
Play the same XI as at Liverpool - why change a team that is just beginning to get know each other.

There's lies, damned lies and Pardewistics. He was hampered by the transfer policy but he stayed and therefore has to accept the consequences of working under such a regime.

Whilst not wanting to be painted with same brush as JPF and Marcello, I can see what they're getting at, and lets face it, only deluded f****** from the Byker Wall read the Chronicle, so the article should be read with a pinch of salt, really.

 

Bottom line for me is that I would have booted him for his behaviour and antics. Not the sort of person who should be manager at NUFC. Compare him for dignity and class with SBR or Hughton or now Rafa. No contest.

 

To be fair, its not as if he actually did anything wrong.
In some circles, head-butting opponents is looked on as a sign of a mans virility, which he's also took on board with his attempts to satisfy the needs of the players wives. You cant really accuse him of neglecting the needs of the squad.

Fair enough, he may have been lacking a little bit in the dignity stakes, but nobody's perfect are they.
