I disagree, see my post above. I've been in countless press conferences when precisely this has happened and it works. I dont expect Bruce to criticise his employer, but he's a fool for commenting at all.
I agree with you but do Hull City have a "good PR person". What would be the "PR effect" of headlines saying "Steve Bruce gagged from stating his view of the membership scheme"?
You wouldnt get a headline like that. The journalist knows its not his role to speak on non-football matters. if they want a comment on the fans protests, they need to speak to a spokesperson for the Allams. That's not Steve Bruce.
I get what you're saying, but after almost 3 years of this type of questioning about Assem's grand schemes, from the advent of Hull Tigers to now, it gets hard to keep quiet
Great work by the organisers & it's terrific to see so many fans back it. It looked conclusive what the majority of the fans thought about the membership scheme. If the ground was full it would be even greater. If the press are still reporting it as a "section" of the crowd then the fans should do it again in front of the tv cameras. Leaves nothing to be distorted then.
Agreed. Early days yet, but the the recent changes and Geoff at the helm seem to be improving things.
Song for next time? (City til I die tune) We've earned our ****ing stripes We've earned out ****ing stripes We know we have, We're sure we have, We've earned our ****ing stripes. Substitute I for we if need be.
That's how they get their jollies though, making believable but despicable rumours that will get retweeted and reported as fact. But yes I get your point.
Well organised and the fact it got coverage within the media today highlights the fans views to a wider audience, all done without disrupting the game itself. Well done to all involved; I'm not surprised that the red cards ran out due to demand
