On the game, another draw for me unfortunately. Pardew will resent you lot til his dying day so I don't see any chance he'll throw this for us with a weak side.

To be fair I don't give a tortoise's cuff about Palace, but Pards is a decent manager. Dodgy bloke, bit of a delinquent, but did more than alright here.

4-1 home win - I dont expect many changes to the starting 11 as we have maintained pretty similar side for the last 3 games and we've achieved good results. I would take Ayoze out based on his recent form, maybe introduce him more as an impact sub?

Mitro would start for me over Cisse and would have done the last 3 games, we dont need to revert to long football just because Mitro is on the pitch, we can continue to try and keep the ball on the deck, putting crosses in at the right times.

 

We should take this fully seriously and not take anything for granted. Remember Pardew knows some of our weaknesses, and will exploit them if he can. He will likely tell his players to put pressure on the likes of Tiote while he's on the ball as he knows there's a bad pass and a mistake in him. We can't spend too much time dilly dallying on the ball.

Who is this "You Lot"? Do you actually think he doesn't hate you and Marcelo just because you (occasionally) and Marcelo (without exception) express your affection for him here on Not606. Personally I think he lumps as all in the same boat as Newcastle Supporters whom he dislikes for never warming to his particular combination of on-pitch style and sideline shenanigans. I might be wrong about Marcelo of course because I am sure he sends him scented letters expressing his undying love and occasionally pops outside his house to stare longingly through his front window.

 

I think we will just pip them 2-1, with Guttierez foregoing his court-case payout and rejoining the club on his old contract, to score the winner, in the last 10minutes. He will then score a hat trick against Villa and an injury time winner against Spurs, before being re-sacked by Ashley on Twitter early in June.
