Just seems odd that one would moan about things they don't care about or claim not to be interested in. Even odder when they didn't actually watch it.
Great line from Oliver Kahn from when they played Wolfsburg. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-abs-more-than-Ive-seen-my-wifes-breasts.html
But you'd rather have had an exciting match between two good footballing teams, along with the tactical battle.
I found the match interesting. It may have lacked goals and perhaps both teams were a tad conservative so as not to concede a goal. Witness the half rugby tackle on De Bruyne in the second half as he surged past the Real defender. Real lacked a genuine cutting edge to open up a surprisingly obdurate City defence, and when they did, Hart was in imperious form.
I feel we might witness another 0-0 tonight!! And for the fun of it two more 0-0 on Thursday in the EL semis.
Can there be a more deadly description of a game. I watched a programme on dark matter yesterday....it was interesting, but I never once jumped out of my seat and punched the air. Nil-nil games can be exciting if there are lots of chances and goal keepers have blinders, but this game wasn't one of those. I guess I'm not a purist and wasn't interested in either team enough. Not a bad result for City in the sense of no away goal to overcome, so I hope there are goals in the next leg and they come out on top. I think City should rest players on Sunday (please) and save themselves for next week.
Hahahahahahahahahaha - news item of the day. Poch admits it would be a 'dream' to coach PSG..... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...uld-be-dream-to-join-paris-club-a7002461.html
It would be a bit odd to move to an uncompetitive league, but actually PSG would stylistically make sense for him. Plus money. Always money.
But he'd be SUCH a great fit for PSG And virtually guaranteed Champions League every year .......... Go on, Poch - you know you want to .......
There has been a lot of ref bashing this season, and rightly so in a lot of cases. But have to say, Clattenburg did very well last night. A weaker ref could have spoiled that game with early non-decisions. Superb Mark, well ref'd.
Yep every contact there was a scream and rolling around but he was very strong and telling players to get up. I thought he had an excellent game. I think a European ref would have given a lot more which would have spoiled it.
