Alli is just 19 and will hopefully learn. Yacob had been riding him most of the game and had obviously been sent out by Pulis with instructions to wind him up and get a reaction. All niggly stuff. Alli has to learn that highly talented players, like he is, are always going to be targets for those sort of tactics from certain teams.

Agreed, that didn't come from one punch unless the guy is the worlds most bruiseable human. Also agree that Alli deserves what's coming to him as he has to learn not to react like that. And in those sentiments I'm proud to be a Spurs fan with others saying the same thing. I'm thinking there are fans of other teams that would accept anything their players do.
mate we've only scored two less goals than you all season though yes we've conceded more but that was early season when according to most pundits we were playing the most entertaining brand of football in the league ! Even your own manager said we deserve to be where we are ! For most of last season we played open attractive football but we're loosing by the odd goal week in week out ! I think where we have had the edge over you is that we are now able to hold on to a one nil scrappy lead though it isn't pretty ! We seem to have a plan b now whereas your Manager/team doesn't atm well not on tonight's showing ! We certainly ain't the finished article and are very much a work in progress but we are also playing to our current strengths very effectively and as such are the most consistent team in the league ! If he genuinely did that I am utterly appalled and ashamed of him. Totally inexcusable if true and I hope the club disciplines him internally in addition to the FA charge. An attitude like that in any other profession would get you sacked for bringing the company name into disrepute. A hefty fine and training with the academy team until the end of the season is the minimum as far as I'm concerned. Disgraceful.
