So if you win at OT on Saturday, Monday Night Football will be hilarious!

... in all seriousness it was wryly amusing to see some of the comments on the Spurs match thread last night ... playing on a Monday is unfair <wah> ... although the complaints were noticeably absent following the 4-0 away win at Stoke the previous Monday (after our draw with West Ham on the Sunday) <laugh> ...

... frankly there is no advantage in either ... you simply have to deal with the opposition ....

... oh and the ref <grr> sometimes <laugh>

I hope it goes to the last day , just to give Spurs hope and lose it in the 96th minute to Delli Alli own goal.

I personally think you will lose at United, but can't see you not beating Everton at home.

... looking at it rationally ... we have 3 games left against teams that we took 7 points off in the corresponding fixtures ..

If United defend like they did against Everton on Saturday we will cause them plenty of problems ... admittedly their front line looks good ... but we have had 6 clean sheets in our last 7 games and it took a dubious penalty (and then a spectacular strike) in the West Ham game to dent that ... what's to fear?

I can see Leicester losing. But can also see Chelsea beating Spurs.

Makes up for the dubious reffing against us when we should have had a penalty then :)

... possibly... but not for van Djik's blatantly offside goal at yours ... without which we'd now be Champions :)

Because he hasn't been found guilty yet. He has to respond to the charge. It's like the legal system.

Trial by TV? Not sure I am in favour of that, shouldn't the officials have spotted it, he may have got off lightly if they had?

To me Tom Hanks is like the dependable kind of male actor that one grew up with like James Stewart, John Wayne and Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. Tom Hanks harts back to that era, and yet manages to be a consummate modern actor. He's is his usual remarkable and dependable acting self in the very recent Bridge of Spies. But above all that he comes across as a very nice guy. The kind of bloke you'd love to have as a next door neighbour so you could have a chin-wag over the fence. ;)

On pre-season 2016 values, Everton are worth about £12M more than Southampton. Not exactly worth bothering shifting house when their ambitions are probably remarkably similar, and their abilities to fulfil them are no better. Probably worse because they're well known for having no money. So, no I don't see Ron moving there as a step-up. Not even at the end of his contract.
