If Pochettinos' stock remains at current levels, IMHO all roads eventually lead to one of the current
La Liga top 3 (more so given the Espanyol era) , not a PL club.

I think Real is his most likely destination. But probably not next season.

Moyes had virtually no European experience and had none at all of title challenges.
He was taking over a team that Ferguson allowed to drop right off and had no chance.
    Totally the wrong candidate.

    Mourinho's won everything, everywhere.
They need instant success and he's the obvious choice, despite being a twat.
Ferguson was just as big a twat and he did well there.

  4. Agreed. I always liked IQ87, especially for the fact that he was lambasted by Pixie for his criticisms of Wenger, but now he's been proven right all along, and Pixie is going to have to kiss some serious IQ87 ass.

That really wouldn't surprise me, mate.

  5. Oi, don't lump me in the same class as Pixie! He's well known as an utter clown.

At least IQ87 has some dignity and honesty.

  6. PSG would finish 4th in their league every season. I'm not sure they would want that.

They'd get guaranteed CL football though. And have a healthy profit margin every season. Who could ask for more? Winning trophies is so mainstream. Balancing the books is where its at!

I think it's a beautiful relationship that you and A87 have formed :emoticon-0115-inlov

  14. Yeah, who would have thought it, eh? Just shows you, anything can happen.

Who knows, perhaps you and me could become... ****! I was just about to make a very big faux pas!

5 games left for Arsenal. Their title winning form kicks in now, they will win every game, the fans will get excited "hey we can do this all next season," Wenger will pen another 3 year extension.. and the cycle will be complete.

Do you think you will win another game after bottling the title ?
if Arsenal manage to overhaul Spurs would you still claim a power shift has happened despite Spurs failure to be above Arsenal for 20 years ?
Or does finishing above us once in 20 years constitute a PS ?

i know you say you are a conduit for others, and I gave seen the gloomfest on the Spurs match day thread, but I would be interested in your valid and honest opinion.

To be honest, it will be desperate stuff if the spuds try and claim that one lucky season finishing above us when every big team was off their game, constitutes a power shift. It's classic small club mentality.

I agree that the power shift guff is symbolic of a small club mentality. It would be different if Spurs were winning trophies but celebrating the fact that they've edged ahead of an Arsenal team (that they ridicule for being ****) is borderline embarrassing.

It's not even certain they will finish above you.

They've already shown how mentally weak they are. I expect their heads to drop now and can see them going out with a real whimper.

If Arsenal can pip them to 2nd then that really would be a humiliation for them.
