Normally you need a 2 points average to get top 4. Tottenham in 2nd place haven't even got it. A very low points average league this year.

Yep. No way I'd have cashed out, I'd rather lose the lot than ruin the season. Part of him would have been wanting Leicester to fail since cashing out, that's no way to enjoy your clubs greatest triumph!

Total opposite for me. If cash out, 29k is life changing to many many people, plus rather than sitting there worrying about Leicester winning it to win to cash, you can sit back knowing you made load of money and can just enjoy the end of season.

29k for sure a few weeks ago. Or 50/50 you were getting 0k or 50k.

I don't claim to be overly astute in business, but that seems like he did the right thing at the time.

It's all hindsight now. I would agree if the figure was 70k+ but he's only dropped 21k when potentially he could have ****ed it all.

If Brighton make it they'll be repping the south coast with the Southampton and Bournemouth - all good from my point of view. Less traveling if I can get tickets <ok>

The championship has been great this season, very hard division to win for sure.

Well..... it's all done now. Spurs have ****ed it having tossed all cups aside for this one title tilt. They will have to wonder what might have been in Europe but in fact cup they really tossed it

2nd is just 2nd in the end. So close yet so far away.

Now Leicester just have to go do pound it out at utd.

It wasn't a straight forward £0 or something choice though, if they'd have had a bad result the following week the cash out would have fallen back a bit, but still would have left him a nice sum if he chose to cash out.

He bottled it, and as G said some of him would have been hoping they didn't win it to justify that decision .

He sounded like a bone head anyway, he placed the bet when pissed, he didn't even remember doing it ffs.

Well it's like deal or no Deal on c4.

If the lad never saw anything like 29k in his life we can say whatever but it was worth it to him to deal.

Now sure if there's a possibility they might drop a bit fine but there's another side to that... the spiral down to 5k or something with 3 losses in a row.

The fact is none of us really know what we would do until we are there.

Could be the pressure got to him.

Could be he really needed that

In the end if you can afford to lose that much anything is possible. You could ride it on in sure.

When exactly did he cash in and what was Leicesters next games or injuries? Something had to trigger the call.

The I've who said he'd pay his mortgage off and have a holiday after reading the papers and believing all the naysayers

You anyone here hand on heart turn down 72k?

Sam and his dad just want to enjoy the rest of the season
A Leicester City fan could have pocketed £50,000 if they won the Premier Leaguebut accepted £29,000 from the bookies - because his DAD couldn't cope with the pressure.

Lifelong Foxes fan Sam North, 26, placed a £10 bet with Sky Bet at whopping 5,000-1 odds before the start of the football season last August.

The season ticket holder, from Barrow-upon-Soar, Leics., was set to net £50,000 if they won he title, but he cashed in a lower amount early.
