Well it's now really a formality until Leicester are crowned champions, and in doing so, they obliterate all the excuses Wenger and his supporters have harped on upon for the last 10 years. The argument was that it was always a case of being financially muscled out of success by the big boys, so therefore what explains finishing below the likes of Leicester, and even Spurs? Leicester have also put to bed all the claims of Wenger and how mentally strong this team are, because yet again this year, they bottled it, and that also has nothing to do with money, fact is money was always a convenient excuse for Wenger and his supporters, it was never about money, the sad fact is it was always done to his own shortcomings as a manager, things like failed tactics, failure to motivate the players and to put in them a true fighting spirit. Wenger's time, just like his excuses are up, he's finally been shown up, there are finally no more excuses to use, the only fact that can be said now is that he is well and truly not good enough to take us to the top anymore. Unfortunately, we may have to stick with the clown for another year, another year and opportunity for him to embarrass us, and himself, and to yet again let us down, and come out with all his usual BS talk of 'quality, strength, and belief'. The man may not be a specialist in failure, but he is without a doubt a specialist in bottle jobs, and underachievement, we can talk about his 'great' legacy, but fact is, his underachievement's will most certainly be part of his legacy, can't whitewash all of it.
I have a sneaky feeling he will be offered a contract extension. I cannot wait to see the reaction if/when this happens. There will literally be a riot.
You do know Dortmund have won the BL recently and Atletico Madrid have won La Liga in the same timespan, sometimes things happen. Be happy for the team that made the breakthrough and stop being so bitter and entitled.
I think A87 is rivalling Matth for most number of threads for someone they seem obsessed about. But who will win, Wenger or De Gea? There's only one way to find out...
Like how the loser Piskie liked your comment, he will always try to find some way out, now it's using your logic, yes we need not look at Arsenal's failings, but let's be happy for others, . There's no reason why you can't be happy for someone else but also accept you have been falling short, the fact remains, Leicester winning the league disproves every excuse Wenger and his lovers including Piskie have used, they really don't have any excuses any more for Arsene failing to win us the league.
