Swanny's comment was entirely fair and rational and Bruce should not have interpreted this as saying Bruce jnr was picked for family reasons, the silly reaction to the criticism is more likely to bring more debate as to whether his son does get favourable treatment.

At the end of the day the Allam's have acted like total morons in regard to this ill thought out scheme, they were the ones that decided that they'd do away with turnstile operators to save pennies, and in doing so they opened the floodgates allowing supporters to cheat the system by scanning concession tickets. What the **** did they expect?! And let's face it, for them to accuse others of dishonesty is as ironic as it gets! Pathetic is what it is. How the **** they've ever managed to accumulate the fortune that they have through business dealings is totally beyond me, I can only assume that they were very fortunate simply to be in the right place at the right time!

True I'm sure (although I believe Dimbleby once said that the panelists are not privy to the audience questions prior to going live on air). They do often have area specific questions that are of national interest too. Surely this issue may well be viewed as a social issue as football is widespread across the country and potentially this membership scheme will be rolled out elsewhere in the future. And you would assume that any money paid for that advert would have more than compensated any price rise he faced, so by paying for this he is doing it for every City supporter and for that we all owe him our gratitude
