Charlton fans did this and we did **** all http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ts-march-against-owner-Roland-Duchatelet.html
Charlton have been relegated to Div 1, ( the third division in old money) and we are already in the Championship play Offs with three games to go. Charlton fans would give their right arms to be in our position.
I remember when Charlton were riding high, and sacked their manager ( Curbishley?. ) because they expected higher. I said they were deluded at the time.
Lot of people getting searched today esp. outside the N Stand. Not always easy to get flags or inflatable camels in. Hey, remember when some City fans used to wear fezzes in fond tribute to our benevolent owners?
Curbishley declined a new contract, he wasn't actually sacked, though after fifteen years many were happy to see him leave.
Money Talks. There'll be no protests. If anything shows how irrelevant the internet is this is it. The people think this is good.
A jaded view, but I can see why you'd say it. I'd like to say that, like the Charlton fans that arguably cost Curbishley his job, the unrealistic expectations of newbies, that, when the going gets tough, will no doubt be on the next passing bandwagon claiming a life of following of the latest trend, are to blame. But sadly, there are a few genuinely long term fans that take 'success' over everything else. Enjoying a day out seems to be a forgotten art in the modern football experience.
I cant make brentford game Obi But will be at Bolton and Rotherham Maybe we can get something done for Rotherham game Charltons effort was good today and got Shown in C5
I just about had a strip search Thats twice in a row by same steward He knows dam well its just pills and potions in my bag.... I got searched by one steward and let through then idiot swooped and did the same as last home game His excuse when i asked why he was doing another search was its leeds ****ing idiot
I don't disagree but, people already aren't going. 6,000 less fans than the last time we got relegated from the PL. That year we were 21st at one point and our lowest crowd was 21,000. Despite those figures, it never gets mentioned. Everyone seems to think this is just our normal crowds. It isn't.
