So who do you realistically want to replace him? A lot of top calibre managers have moved or are due to be moved. LVG if he leaves Man Utd? Or someone overseas?

Why not Jorge Sampaoli then? He was allegedly in contention for Chelsea before Conte

LVG is a turnip. No ta.

My choice would be Koeman, but I've no idea whether he's in contention.

I suspect that Pelligrini will in the running though.

He doesn't speak English and he's never managed in Europe. He'd be a huge punt. No ta.

Pellegrini would be a crap appointment IMO, he'll certainly get through any transfer funds Moshiri makes available but no long term development

He's lucky LVG is around to distract from the hundreds of millions he's wasted

Pelligrini is as bad defensively as martinez.

Koeman is the opposite. long ball merchant with love of defense.

Theres lot of guys out there i think that would improve on the state of enlgish football. Just need actual competence.

I get the feeling that a bit of work at the top of the organisation is needed. ol bill has run the place as an as you need basis too long. Put in a CEO for the new owner who knows a bit about football and can do the appointing right through the club

A few rumours down here that you may be after our Ron...would you be happy with that?

Not sure it's true mind cos Kenwright could hardly of been meeting him over the weekend...

    He's no chance there.

Barca will have xavi and then busquets in the medium term.

Next season I've no idea who's next in line.

    Yes I would.

I think the bloke has done a great job in difficult circumstances at Soton, and I like the way he conducts himself.

Yeah he has. Very flexible in terms of tactics/formations too.

The defence would be unrecognisable from the shambles it is now.
