Though you sign up for it now, it doesn't start until next season and you don't start paying yet. Presumably, someone on here who hasn't set fire to their brochure will be able to check the date it actually starts.
As said already, promotion massively increases chances of new owner... I think the Allams have proven how stubborn they are and how dishonest they are when it comes to selling club. If they're still here now, nothing tells me they'll leave next year if we stay in the same league.
Their investment in Hull City earned them £2.6 million last year according to the accounts. If we get promotion their £80 million loan is secure and becomes more secure the longer we stay in the Premier League. Unfortunately I can't see Ehab giving up the opportunity of being the owner of a Premier League football club to go back to selling generators.
I want Hull City to win every match, like I always have. I can never bring myself to want us to lose, even if it is to piss off our ****ish owners. Having said that I can see why some might want us to stay down, particularly if it is to cause the membership scheme to fail. It is so unbelievable that we have owners that can actually make fans want their own team to fail, and that in mind is what makes them worse than Lloyd et al. But I've also just realised that the Play-Off Final is on the weekend of what would have been my Dad's 70th. So for personal reasons I cannot see a more fitting, emotional tribute than to win promotion that weekend. IF it happens, the owners will (temporarily) be the last thing on my mind.
As a supporter of Hull City I find it mind boggling that someone who calls themself a `fan` wishes bad on us ?, I started to follow the club when the Needlers were in charge, through the Robinson days, and the likes of Hinchcliffe, Lloyd, Pearson and latter owners. Some of them were good, some were just crooks, but never would I wish my club to lose a game of football just to spite the owners, no matter how much I loathe the individuals. The Allams shoot themselves in the foot time after time, and have no idea how to run this club, the membership scheme is ill advised at best, but again, to hope the club lose just to spite them is nonsensical. I want my beloved Hull City to achieve the maximum they can, I dream of success for them, and I would like to think the majority of the Tiger nation are the same.
Jamie Redknapp on Sky yesterday said the best thing to happen to Arsenal would be finishing lower than 4th one year, to force the club to act on Wenger as long term he thought Arsenal would be better with a new manager. The same applies for me in respect of the Allams, sometimes you need to take a step back to allow the club to go much further forward. Promotion to the Premier League will just paper over the cracks, the poison will still be there.
If City don't go up this season I don't see how that could lead to anything other than long term decline. Players out of contract will leave. Others will be sold. Only prayed-for new owners would stop the downward spiral.
Not going up would keep them though.. The analogy is completely inaccurate. Not going up would get rid of Bruce, not the owners.
I think Steve Bruce will go either way. Just a feeling in my water. Something has happened over the past year to sour his relationship with Ehab. I also think Ehab won't sell because he likes the kudos of being the owner of a football club. He will be more included to sell if the club is failing than if it is successful. He said it was all about legacy and at the minute his legacy is only slightly better than Bartlett's in terms of success on the pitch and a million miles lower off the pitch.
it doesnt take a rocket surgeon to realise that AAs legacy will be tainted if we fail to get promoted. I bet he wants to offload this millstone ASAP. I cant see AA allowing much more cash to be taken from Allam Marine, even if he is on a 5% return.

Of course it's not certain, but given all the speculation about buyers stipulated we were a premier league club, and the Allams wouldn't want to sell for a big loss, it's clearly only going to help the prospects of a sale.
No I don't want City to win the play-offs...... I also hope I never win the lottery and spend the rest of my life on an island paradise with a bevvy of horny supermodels.
I don't agree with a single word of this. If we don't get promoted it will probably be Bruce who goes, not the Allams. If we get promoted again for the second time in 3 years that will be a magnificent achievement as far as I'm concerned.
I do like this post and I'm glad you've said what you've said. All respect for your standing. But, for me, it just goes a little beyond supporting City. I love Hull City. Always have, always will. I want success as much as the next man. I want the Prem, the 2-1 reverse at Arsenal, dipping the toe in Europe. However, after being described as a hooligan, told I can die when I want and MY club, even now, using the name Hull City Tigers / Hull Tigers / The Hull Tigers, I made a stand. I gave up my pass. Don't go anymore. Because it was personal. They split the fans. Turned them against each other. I will not be treated or talked to like that by anybody. Especially someone I'm giving my ****ing money to. If City get promoted, I believe the Allams will still not sell. They will for sure implement their cockamamy Membership scheme. And who knows what else they'll come up with once the Premier League fans return? Either way they're staying for another season minimum. We all know how **** they are. Who knows what they'll come up with next. If we're in the Prem there'll only be another few thousand 'fans' pandering to them. It's all about personal choice. Allams in the Prem? No thanks. They'll be going nowhere unless you believe the club is up for sale.... I guess for some supporting City is sacrosanct. And that's fine. For me, what i believe in rises above that. Go figure. If City go up I'll be mightily proud. If not, I'll be laughing at our owners.
