So according to the HDM; Liverpool, PSG, AC Milan, Athletico Madrid and now Chelsea are chasing him. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...cied-Premier/story-29172064-detail/story.html Was this a huge opportunity missed by City? Obviously he eventually became a completely disinterested lazy git here, but when he first came he seemed eager to prove the Geordies wrong. My point is he's a great player when properly man-managed and although it would have been a very difficult job for SB to keep him happy, it would have been hugely to our advantage if he did.
I've said before on here that he is one of the greatest players I have ever seen and occasionally he can be unplayable. He took us for mugs and thought we were beneath him however. Whether SB mis-managed him or not, I've no idea, but it obviously wasn't working out, so to let him go probably stopped wasting everybodies time.
He came here because of Diame… not because of Bruce… and since his departure Diame hasn't given a **** either.
Ben Arfa's performance at Man United away was the single most disgraceful and disrespectful performance I've ever seen from a City player. The **** him.
He'll alter the statement to suit his needs, like a proper copper does. Although a proper copper usually alters other people's statements & not his own.
It was a simple enough request; can you furnish a link to give proof to your statement (the whole statement, not just part of it)? ''He came here because of Diame… not because of Bruce… and since his departure Diame hasn't given a **** either''
You call it hearsay, others call it as it is ........ ''****ing bullshit'', fairly typical of you tbh.
He never really wanted to be here, sadly that much was obvious once he started playing a few games, in particular that Man Utd game. He's been ace at Nice. I think he wanted to be out of the country meself. Also, Ligue 1 is definitely a much weaker league and probably a bigger wage packet.
Agree with the former but not the latter. Nice don't pay big money and outside a few clubs Ligue 1 wages are generally pretty low. Ben Arfa is Nice's only player on more than £10,000 a week.
sat up waiting till 1am before going to bed to make sure we had signed him, don't think there has been a bigger anti climax to a signing since it became apparent Mark Hateley could barely walk never mind still run.
He's on £40k a week at Nice apparently. They've got another player on £30k, one on £20k, a few at £13-16k, then it drops dramatically for the rest, some are on less than £1k a week.
I bet all fans around the country looked on with envious eyes or shock as little old City announced the signings of him and Gaston, the same fans looked on with glee or disbelievement at what eventually panned out the same as we all did here too.
Just a sports payroll site (so quite possibly guessed), though he has said himself he's on almost half what he was on Newcastle and that was £65-80k a week, depending on which site you believe.
