I was pretty shocked they managed to get a manger of Quique Flores' pedigree, but the way their ownership is I can't see them having a poor squad next year.

 

I hear they've approached Magilton.

 

Just loads of Udinese players.

 

Let's add the CHAVS as a club to dislike, simply because most of their fans are complete k***heads or glory hunters!!

 

Yeah, and Grenada. With the extra cash the Pozzo family get from Watford being in the PL they will probably go and sign about 50 players and move them across the clubs. Watford will obviously be priority now as having a PL club is massive for their business model, so should be getting the best players.

Chelsea don't buy from us anymore, yet we have benefited from moves the other way, that overrides fan attitude & club lacking history. Arsenal & Spurs have treated us with disdain in recent times, so my dislike flows different to yours.

 

Never had a problem with Chelsea. Don't tend to steal our players and gave us Peter Osgood.

You have to understand Ides' reasoning TSS. A Spuds fan was nice to him when he was a little boy and so he loves Spuds. A Chelsea fan was mean to him, so they are chavs.

 

Ever been to Fareham? You see fat shaven headed guys wearing those shirts going into the Vanguard pub followed by their Chav-like kids with shaven heads, an ear-ring and wearing those cheap shirts. Ugh!!!!!! And the scene is repeated in other Chav like towns in the southern part of the UK (nobody north of Northampton would seriously follow Chelsea, and you can see my reasoning. Add in their nasty elements and their irrational dislike for Spurs and Liverpool (a club and its fans that really make Chelsea look like *****) and you make see my illogical reason.

 

Spurs gave us Frank Saul who played a big part in preserving Saints' top flight status in the late 60s!! But maybe Celtic fans should loathe the Saints as we keep stealing all their best players. But in our case it is "buying" and not "stealing"

 

Same as any club. Just need to "see" them. They are there.

 

Are we seriously discussing football and rationality in the same sentence? We don't need a bucket to carry a grudge. One of the many reasons that I want Leicester to win the title (inc. not wanting Spurs to win the title) is that I have no reason to dislike them as they have scarcely impinged on my consciousness. Have no reason to dislike them.........yet!

 

I want Leicester to win because I like Ranieri and they are not supposed to win. The only thing that is souring it for me is that I can't stand Vardy but I'm trying to ignore him. As for Spuds not whilst they have that Manager and Chairman. Yes I understand why Poch would want to go to Spuds but that is not the problem. It's the underhand disrespectful manner in which he did it.

 

What Leicester has done is amazing, but does anyone think they can maintain this or are they a one hit wonder? I think they have grabbed their moment (and what a moment that would be if they take the title), but may struggle next year with the CL as well. Not that I'm wishing it on them....better them than the so-called big clubs who failed despite spending massive amounts of money. However, that's next season...this season I hope they enjoy their moment in the sun....a massive achievement.

P.s. I love Ranieri as well. A gent.
