Is getting promoted in the best long term interests of Hull City though? If we get promoted Hull City becomes financially independent of its supporters, we could play to an almost empty stadium and it would have little effect on our finances. People assume Ehab will sell, give up being a football club owner and go back to just being a director of a generator manufacturer. It wouldn't surprise me if the Allams owned Hull City Tigers Limited for years to come. He may also, as a matter of family honour, put in another application to call us Hull Tigers if we get promoted. The long term damage the Allams have done, and can still do, to our club may take decades to undo.
Div 4 to Div 3 was a great season Big crowds Fans United Great games v Swansea and Oxford Can you turn the clocks back to that season and the following one Great times
Remember that Tuesday night when we beat Swansea to reach the summit of Div 3? Afterwards Ashbee said the players knew then the club they were playing for. 25,000 fans on a Tues in Div 3. Brilliant. Great days.
What a great night that was . Fancy we had better times in Div 4 or was it called 3 then Or am i going senile
It wasnt 25.000 they didnt open the north for City fans. I remember over 1,000 getting turned away they where moaning that theyd never go again.
To me, all I'm hearing is that a lot are pissed off with the **** the owners are doing, fair enough, fight for it. But to want us to fail to get to the PL? That I don't understand, to fail to get to the PL would mean we lose to Derby or whoever in the final, which means those not wanting promotion, like it or not, are supporting the opposition!
I think its this year or risk a long time in the Championship or lower. Why would you not want promotion
Wembley? It is for some. It could also bump up membership numbers giving it a greater apparent acceptance.
It would be to members if there was more demand than supply. Unfortunately I don't think we would take anywhere the same amount as in 2008.
I think most realise you dont need a pass/membership to get a ticket so doubt very much itd boost it.

Possibly, although pass numbers have been an issue in the past, hence the camping out, and priority ticketing etc seems to be a selling point with a membership scheme over the old system.
It's human nature , Scarbs. Just do what gives you pleasure and self respect. Seriously, though, you staying away will change your life and I really do doubt that the arsehole who runs the club deserves your gesture. I was surprised at just one brown bag.
That's my point, I think Hull City has become a sideshow; good things are trivialised because Assem Alkem uses his cock of a son to push his pathetic agenda. Despite any position the club may have, they are a disgrace.
I think that's pretty much right. As it stands, I'll maybe change my mind, but I don't think I'll be going if we get there. If there's nothing in the rules to stop them, I can see the club trying a 'members only' scheme to massage the figures. Mind you, I'm not sure if buying a ticket makes you a member anyway, in more ways than one.
Surely the membership scheme will not be in operation until after the final? Existing pass holders will have preference if we get to Wembley.
Once you've signed up, which some people have, then the contract is valid. I would expect the membership scheme to become effective from the date you sign. If the contract covers other matches, such as the League Cup and FA Cup, it should also cover all the play-off matches.
