It's not all Guidolin's fault, of course not. But I still maintain that we have a great bunch of players, with a few exceptions. These are the same guys who did so well last season, remember. But we are soooo weak at the back. 5 or so signings needed to freshen things up, there is no doubt. But first and foremost we need a decent manager and we ain't got one right now.
We have players that know they will not be with Swansea next season and are happy to just pick up their obscene monthly wage cheque. We also have players that do not want FG in charge at Swansea. We also have players that think they are better than they are. Message to all.......must try harder. Edit........few fukrs must have money on Leicester to win the title after that performance. Hurry up and bring on the local lads who will play with their hearts on their sleeves. Yours fuming.
I`m starting to feel disconnected from the team and club. The players on the field, for the most part this season, have been if not rubbish, then very close to it. Considering that they get paid more in a week than a lot of us retired people get in a few years, then they should at least try and give the impression that they care about the team they play for. Then we come to those at the top, a lot of this season has seen them more interested in making more money than we can dream of in a lifetime. This has had the desired effect on the playing side of things. That is, not playing for most of the season and making utter schoolboy errors, no I`ll rephrase that, schoolboys could probably do better in a lot of cases. I feel real contempt for both the board and the players for the mess THEY`VE made of this season. Yes we lost to the team at the top of the table, but it`s the way we lost that`s infuriating. The players should give at least 50% effort, instead of the -10% they gave, one or two players are not in that group, but most are. I don`t know how much "player power" has gone into it, but if they "down tools" then what do you do! Siggy, even when he`s not having a great game, at least he puts in the effort and gives his all. I don`t mind (well I do) if we lose every week, but show a bit of professionalism for fecks sake. Fookin shameful. I`m at the point now where I really wish that we`d be relegated, and I mean that, I really do. If only to get back at those money grabbing barstewards of a board, and the players who don`t give a sh1t about the club. I just hope that Rogers doesn`t get the job, not that I don`t like him, he just doesn`t have the nous to put this right, in my opinion.
We live to fight another season may it be a great one to bury the memory of this one ! Clean house go shopping and move on.
Totally understand that swanee. But my only concern if we were relegated is would we ever get back up again? We're about to become a very rich club if we stay where we are. The Championship is one of the toughest leagues anywhere imo and we've seen decent teams plummet down the divisions when they end up there. I'd like to think we've learned as a Club from this awful season. Year after year we've had plaudit after plaudit and the players have believed the hype. This season has been a rude awakening and I hope that everyone has had a right good kick up the backside. Get the right people in place and we may just do a Leicester next season. We must have hope.
So 2 away games, 2 defeats, 0 goals for, 7 against. The points difference is disappearing faster than a snowball in Hell....... Let's hope Sunderland & Norwich don't get 9 points from their last 4 games....... Has someone told the players that we are not yet mathematically safe? Guidolin will be gone at the end of the season - we daren't experiment with him........
What you have to remember is that the team that got us here is no longer kicking, 6 seasons on and we are now in serious need of some talent, RB and LB need replacing, Fernandez is not as good as Chico and was not an upgrade, Huw did badly last season on the Transfer market with Gomiss, Tabanou, Edder, all very poor, and Ayew while clearly talented does not fit our style or team, and this has added to our ageing team and woes, I hope these Yanks have some ambition, though it will not take much to surpass our current money grabbing dimwits on the board..............
I'm down the Staduim tomorrow night for the U21's v Villa in the play off semi final , there'll will be a marked difference in performance and attitude from the youngsters ,a few of this lot today should be forced to go and support them and take note , bunch of ankers
A few things we have learned this season that the Board grew complacent , naive and out of their depth in selling the Club commercially ,a poor scouting system and that the Board have had more concerns in getting out than concentrating on keeping the Club on a steady course. Not only are we looking at bringing a new manager in we need a major shakeup with the players and now the uncertainty of the near future regarding the Trust v the Board .Not happy days and a lot to digest and if they don't get it right then we will drop out of the PL .
And the fourth goal had three individual errors in it . Williams invited the player to go pass him and proceeded to jog back as if all was ok . Then either Taylor or Montero picked the player up just in time to let the player go past him too . And last but not least the ball came into the far side of the box and was headed back to the other side . The ball went straight past fuking Ferdenaz and he ( on purpose IMO ) didn't even attempt to put a foot on it although he could have . The team with everything to play for and a fire in their belly 4 - The team with nothing to play for and no fire in their belly 0 I'm ashamed to share this board with some of the disrespectful fans on here .To criticize a current manager is one thing , some of the sh:t spewed here is sickening . I don't thing most will have to worry about Guidolin sticking with us .... He won't want to .
Anything guys like you and valley and such can use against Guidolin is better news for ya than a win .
My thoughts are if we retain Guidolin we will be in for a relegation battle next season , if we replace Guidolin in the summer I think we will get relegated . We wasted an entire season without any attempt to improve in player transfer . Williams 's body language today tells me he is gone in the summer . And he won't be nearly the only one . No matter who is in charge next season , we will have our worst season IMO
So you want us to keep a manager that you think will give us a relegation battle next season rather than get someone in who can improve our team and maybe get us back to a place where we as a Club deserve to be - where we as fans deserve our Club to be. Great strategy for building for the future Roof - nice one. Thank **** you live 6,000 miles away from this team.
"My thoughts are if we retain Guidolin we will be in for a relegation battle next season , if we replace Guidolin in the summer I think we will get relegated ." Ahem. Are you saying that you want to keep Guidolin (your position thus far) so he can give us a relegation battle or are you saying you want a new manager to get us relegated? Utter jibberish either way. Sorry bucko but I think you've finally lost it.
Exactly , we are going to struggle next season regardless of who runs the show ...from things we've done the last few seasons , in transfer , in hiring and firing in general .Guidolin has the advantage of time played and a summer , whoever comes in doesn't . I bothers me Aussie knowing guys would kill to get tickets and can't get them and a loser / complainer like you has them .... See ya in the fall .
