We need someone to start a "Free Will-y" group. On second thoughts, I can think of a few who would think that means getting their knobs out. Yeah, I'm including you in that.
I really struggle to understand why so many people are so passionate about this club, yet wish failure on it so that a membership scheme fails or the owners leave. How is that good for the club you have supported for X years? What happened to all those who said they'd follow Hull City regardless of what division we're in, non league football etc. I don't get to many games, but do as often as I can, if we get to Wembley I'll be trying to get a ticket. I do get pissed off with results/performances and the people who run the club, but ultimately I could never turn off the ability to not support Hull City. (I know that doesn't sound right!) So as it stands, people are pissed off with loads of different things & will now give up supporting the one club, won't even be checking the football scores on BBC final score, couldn't care less? Won't be flicking through the sports pages of any newspaper & glance at Hull City's results? Don't care? I don't believe you! You can't just stop something like that! You can't just not care! If we make Wembley, not one person who says they don't care can say they won't have one thought on how we're doing even if they themselves aren't going or watching on TV or in the pub!
The thread's about not wanting to win the play-offs and some are not going to games until the Allams are gone, but people are obviously not going to just stop being City fans.
People are saying they don't care, people are saying they want us to fail, to me that's not being a City fan, or worse, being a warm weather City fan!
I would rather see us get thrashed by Man City than Macclesfield. I would rather see us tamed by Tottenham than Torquay. I would rather see us **** on Liverpool than Lincoln. I would rather see us beat West Ham than Wrexham. Pain is temporary shame is permanent.
Not sure what you're getting at. Through my own free will I choose do other things now. I've been to a handful of home games plus Accrington, Bury and Man City away. I've had my passion and loyalty slowly chipped away at for the last few years, and I'm now struggling to care as much. I hope that changes in the future, but it's surprisingly easy to stay away. I still care about Hull City, but Hull City isn't what it used to be for me.
I hope we dont go up 50 years of supporting Hull City I want his ****ish membership scheme to fail IF we go up theres more chance of premier league only supporters crawling back and signing on to his **** scheme
I will ALWAYS be a City fan! I am just not giving any money to the ****s who now own the club One day they will leave and I will still be a City fan NOT a ****ing Hull Tigers fan however!
i want us to win every game , but im not that bothered about Prem , its a bit like popping ur cherry as a kid , all a bit meh ! and for the next few weeks wondering if you caught a disease , Getting to the prem the second time was well , just a bit like my second time after said Cherry was poppethed , a bit like "oh yeah its still a bit meh ! " maybe becoming seasoned like Villa is more like it , where after a few decades you droop off . not sure if my analogy works but hey ho
Rubbish. Every person on this board cares about Hull City. However, to some, if not lots, blindly supporting your club and ignoring the **** storm swirling around it is just something they're not prepared to do. It's more than just football now. It's about being human and deciding whether you don't mind being treated like **** or not. It's about standing up and doing what you think is right. Do you really think I want us to fail? No, I want Hull City to be the best club in the world. And it doesn't matter if they're not, they're still my team no matter what happens. I care more about Hull City than someone who just lays back and takes all the Allams' **** just because of money and Prem football. And yes, I preffered us being in Div 3 with everyone together as opposed to now, flirting with the Prem and fan vs fan. Allams are for sure the worst owners we've ever had.
Want to go up. Dont mind relegation back so long as it was on 39 points after a good go. Then win and go up as champions and repeat. Sitting in mediocrity in premiership hoarding vital nil nil draws nah. West Brom at the moment for example. Yeah they are secure but so dull they aint happy.
