Now Aberdeen have totally collapsed like Monacogers arsehole when smug offered him out , will the papers be touting a new manager for Aberdeen ? Any names linked ? Ant press about a pure ****e season ?
Strangely there seems to be very little. I can only imagine his apparent protected status has something to do it certain members of the press suggesting he would be a good replacement for Delia.
In Scotland, it's only the Celtic manager's abilities that are constantly called into question. Haven't you noticed?
Even when deranged members of our society were trying to kill our former manager, the press said he brought it on himself. Some on this forum, who will remain nameless, because I've forgotten their names, believe the press treat us fairly Utter pish
I said, correctly, that a large amount of Huns also think the 'mhedia' is out to get them, just like a large amount of Celtic fans also think the MSM spends their days saying, "The Magic Hat? Rewrite that article so it says he's got a 12" cock. Ronny Deila? Aye, just says he's a useless dickhead and it's good to go to print". We're the biggest club in Scotland. Does Louis Van Gaal get a rougher ride than, say, Tony Pulis? Aye, he does. Why? Because he's expected to win most games, he's expected to win competitions, expected to progress in Europe, and he's expected to play with a style of football that's pleasing to the fans and has them turning up. This is the same reason Ronny Deila gets more publicity, bad or good, than Lee Clark at Kilmarnock. Deila under-performed so he got more bad headlines than good. He's leaving Celtic because we have not progressed under him, not because Jackson at the Record isn't his biggest fan. The sooner tedious Celtic fans/supporters/dribbling GB members lose the chip on their shoulder, then the better. Also, plenty of the media also stood up for Lennon, but don't let that get i the way of your desire to paint anyone related to Celtic as a victim
I'll be saying more once I find articles slagging Walters European record and abandonment of the national team. McCoists cup performance and all round **** play in the non leagues will also feature. Stay tooned
Ah classic whataboutery "Well unless I find articles taking a pop at different Rangers' managers for specific things, then I steadfastly refuse to accept that the MSM is not out to get Celtic and their managers with unfair coverage". Ignore every notable point made, and instead just reply with your usual deflection. Belter
Van gaal is fighting 4th place that's why he's under pressure. Delias been sitting in first Didn't Delia just say pressure in the media is one of the reasons he quit Any normal person would stand up for an innocent victim of terrorism but for some to say it's brought on by his behaviour is sickening Howzat?
Exactly: Van Gaal is expected to be doing better than he is. It was exactly the same for Deila at Celtic, because he's managing by-and-far the biggest club in the country, and he only manahed the bare minimum that was expected of him (the league), which is now evidently not good enough. And which if you go back to Van Gaal (4th place) is exactly the the same - he's now on course to also get his jotters, regardless of possibly winning a cup. The job was too big for Deila. He can point fingers at the media, journalists, newspapers, anyone he likes, and for any other multitude of reasons, but the simple fact is he was not good enough, and this was shown by our poor cup record, poor European record, and some really stagnant, stale football that was on display. You're quick to pick up on Poor Ronny saying the pressure of the media got to him which fits in to your narrative, but you're silent on Ronny's numerous claims of how he'd get the team playing well in Europe. Good aul' cherry-picking And normal people did stand up for him. No one is disagreeing that people saying he brought it on himself are abhorrent, so what's your point, exactly? Some folk said mean stuff, and some said supportive stuff...welcome to the real world.
Poor ****** Gets his points answered then reverts to the very same whitabootery he accused me of My point about lennon is the media. Even with a terrorist attack that could have hurt more than just Neil Francis himself, it's discarded by some as little more than a jape he brought on himself And why? Because of what he is and who he managed This was in the sports media by the way, the same that pegged Lennon as a thug and everyone else as just a man's man Don't take my word for it, we had many posts about it on this forum in the past
Sigh. You responding with your usual deflective one-sentence retorts are not answers, nor did I respond with whataboutery. So what if Deila said the media is to blame? It isn't - his performance as manager is why he lost the job, which is what I pointed out. This is literally the fundamental reason as to why he is leaving, not because Hugh Keevins didn't write 400 words eulogizing about him. There are just as many Huns as Celtic fans that also believe the media are out to get them and their club, This repetitive, tiresome victim playing is not exclusive to Celtic fans like you, but is also very prevalent across the city - blinkered morons, looking to play the victims, who manage to see almost every article which isn't in a good light as some secretive agenda to sully Celtic's/Rangers' name and those associated with the club. You saying Deila got an unfair ride, or that Lennon wasn't supported across the board proves nothing. Yes, I've already answered your point: there were those in the media that expressed abhorrent views, and there were also those that offered support and gave damning verdicts on present day Scotland and the bigotry that is still rife. What part of this are you struggling to grasp? I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that there's 2 sides to it, not just the bit that plays along with your narrative.
I don't need to write an essay to answer easy points Delia quit his job, he wasn't sacked for potentially winning 5 in a row whilst 8 points clear He mentioned media pressure which is what this threads kind of about Celtic fans mostly complain that reporting is unfair we haven't yet blocked the BBC for looking into our dodgy owners or mentioning that liquidation actually happened Comparing the two on this point is ridiculous Again look at the posts over the whole Lennon period. Lennon is portrayed as a thug yet Souness and Smith actually behaved worse in their time(not even that badly to be fair) and they're revered in the media Maybe it's personal after Lennon was successful in court against the DR over the Thugs and Thieves front page Okay let's make it easier Celtic faced financial trouble...not even in administration ....the papers hired a hearse and put it outside Celtic Park for a photo opportunity Rangers go bust....Actually go bust and after a short period of honesty all those front pages are wiped from their collective memory Those are direct comparisons not like comparing 4th place man utd to 1st place Celtic
3 paragraphs is an essay? Right you are, Hitchens Thing is, you haven't countered anything, just used the tired old argument of "Aye bit how cum Walter wisnae gettin stick", and "Souness wis a bad man an aw", along with your Number 1 hit single, "Neil Lennon deserved it". Delia quit It was mutual consent, no matter how naive you are. Rather than push him, they nudged him in the privacy of Celtic Park's boardroom and allowed him to leave with is head held high. This is you, again, tailoring something so it suits your "the media is out to get Celtic" narrative, dismissing the obvious and instead letting your brain run amok with it's fervent desire to paint us all as victims. You think if Ronny had turned to the board after being beaten by the Huns and said, "Actually, I'll stay on, please", that they'd have said, "Sure, here's another year"? My using a direct comparison about the pressures expected at top level football clubs stands, because, you know, that's what happens when you're a manager at big teams: you don't meet expectations then you go. You using the same old "Aye but they didnae grill Charles Green enough" retorts begin losing weight once you've mentioned it for the 36475th time. Also, papers is plural. It was the Daily Record who put the hearse outside CP. You can't blame the entire MSM just because you have a grudge against the Record. The premise of this thread is ****ing ******ed too - McInnes has matched expectations. Keep Aberdeen as the 2nd strongest team in the country, try and have a cup run, and if possible push Celtic for the title. They beat Celtic at home in both league games too. He's done a fantastic job at Aberdeen FFS, so only someone with a chip on their shoulder would suggest he should be under pressure. Sorry for the essay and the punctuation. I hope your confused brain can handle it.
It can but I was confused by your use of "My" instead of "By" in your 3rd paragraph It's funny, you know of the hearse and must be aware of the McCann biscuit tin mentality made up by the smsm yet how much of an easy ride did Green, who you mention, and Whyte get....jeez they're loath to criticise Murray even now and King...an actual fraudster has excuses made for his convictions...."came to an understanding with the tax authorities" ...did he, aye? I was only playing when this thread started but **** me you're so feverent in your defence of the smsm that you must deliver papers for them Hopefully they'll notice your superior education and you can write a sports blog for them in the near future
4 seconds after Lennon was attacked at Tynecastle, fat DJ stated "Neil will have to be careful, he looked as if he wanted to get involved with that guy there"
Look at the cheeky ****, thinks he can just casually go to concerts and get away with it. Mind that time Walter and Ally got pelted at the Bonnie Tyler concert? nearly as funny as Mark Mcwarblerton getting hit wae that pie at the Status QUO gig, or the now legendary Souness Gary Glitter shindig. Ginger **** was just asking for it. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/former-bolton-boss-neil-lennon-7813281
Ffs. Wit a load of pish. It's a bad day when Jiffy is the only sensible **** in the room. There seems to be a wee bit of selective amnesia happening here. When Lennon was being sent letter bombs and such like there was widespread condemnation from the Scottish media. There was condemnation from every **** actually apart from the *****loid **** pigs amongst the Rangers support. Not one media outlet ever said that Lennon brought it on himself. That ****e is fantasy made up by the *****loid **** pigs amongst the Celtic support. Feel free to post a link to any article that proves your mental claims Mindy. Also, what the **** are on about articles slagging Walter Smith's European record? Smith took Rangers to a UEFA cup final ya daft bastard. Delia was leaving at the end of this season. He jumped before he was pushed. It's not the Scottish media's fault that he's a bad manager. It's not the daily records fault that Celtic park has been empty all season ffs. Are those fans not turning up because Keith Jackson told them not ? Away and bile yer heed ya daft ****.
I started this thread , not as I think msm is out to get Celtic , just I think Aberdeen have choaked tae **** and he deserves critisicm ... Another season (4) as 2nd best team and still no trophies
