Lost only one match in the last seven.

.....and three clean sheets in the last four !

..........and ALL the players have a spring in their step.

Do we dare to dream ?

Yep, beat Stoke and Everton and we will be safe, great determined performance today, Kahzri is fantastic as is Kirchoff.

KKKK you mean, all four played well today, we started nervously and ended marvellousley, a point was like a win today, a well done to all the players and a special mention for Vito, he made some great stops, but Sam needs to tell him to stay in his area, as his foray as a sweeper left a lot to be desired and could so easily have ended in tears. :emoticon-0141-whew:

We've made some right crap signings over the years but I reckon The Hoff for £750,000 and Defoe for Altidore must be two of the best signings for over a decade.

No point crying about spilt milk Comm. We are where we are.

Survival is paramount! We can do the post mortem on the season I once it's finished.

    Yeh. Again.

That's the cycle we have to break.

If we stay up, if, I can see Sam staying for 4-5 years and building a new team. He made some great signings in January. He's breaking up the old clique, who have less influence now, and I can see more stable time ahead.

Yes, I know stable is boring but I could do with that for a bit of a while.

You're not wrong. We are behind the likes of Stoke, West Brom, West Ham.

My point was, we played well today, didn't get the result we wanted. But we played well, and have done for the last few weeks. There are grounds for optimism.

Today isn't a day for looking backwards and sucking on lemons.

I look at our squad now thinking that if we stay up we should be able to push on, improve and stop up with more games to spare in future. For the first time in ages we don't look like a complete and utter shambles. However it would be ironic that if we go down this season it would be with the best squad of players that we have had since Bruce did things right. I'm worried that I have this hope for the future but the trapdoor will fling open just when we have a chance to crawl away from this mess. Frustrating!
