Jamie Vardy's extended ban- how will this affect Leicester's title bid?

The wheels are about to come off. My prediction, Spurs will get another 10 points, Leicester to only get 5 and Spurs nick it on GD. Hope I'm wrong!!

That's my concern... Leicester's next games compared to Spur's are somewhat less winnable. Possibly 2 games without Vardy is a sickener for the Foxes.

Spurs are winning well as well. Leicester have been grinding out results for a while now. As the pressure mounts I can only see them dropping more and more points. The one thing in their favour is it's only 4 more games and Spurs can't really afford to drop more than 2-3 points realistically.

Spuds cannot afford to drop any points.
They need to take all 12pts. That is going to play against them.

Leicester have - Swans & Luckchester UTD
Spuds have - West brom & US

Leicester can fancy 4 to 6 points.
Spuds will be lucky to get 4pts. I expect us to up our game big time.

I see title over by May 2nd - but we need to play our part for Leicester's sake.

I'm torn between seeing the Incredible Underdog story of Leicester prove a success, or the sound of a million Arsenal fans committing Sepuku if Spurs won the title.

If you put it that way - I don't mind tbh.

Goons have 5 games with 6pts gap.
Leicester have 4 games with 5pts gap.

What are the odds of Goons missing their title over Leicester missing theirs?

Honestly, Arsenal fan TV would be the most entertaining thing ever if Spurs won the league.
    Look at this enlightened gent......

And this is how they react.....to a draw <laugh>

Anyone care to count how many times he says "Blud" in this video? I lost track at 46.

To be honest the goons will be in meltdown enough with another failed title bid and Spurs finishing above them.

It has to be better Leicester winning the title! I can see them dropping a few points though. As I say, Spurs could win 3, draw 1 and take the title on GD if Leicester only win 1 and draw 3. They still have us, Everton and United; 2 away from home. They won't win all of those.

    You're probably right.
And HIAG would probably become unbearable, he better hope Spurs don't win the league, because he would probably get a site ban <laugh>

I just love to watch Gooners deltmown, they are the best at it.

HAIG would be unbearable especially as he'd win the bet thread and PISKIE would be in a Spurs avatar for the first month.

I still can't fathom how the top 2 teams have got so good practically over night.

For years the top 4-5 has been pretty predicable and only 3 teams have won the title in what 11 years? Suddenly 2 teams without spending any money of note are competing for the title almost out of nowhere; especially in Leicester's case.

It used to be that if you didn't finish in the top 2-3 the previous year you'd get nowhere near the title.

Possibly the weirdest season ever. Just wonder whether 'normal service' resumes next year? Could someone else come through like a West Ham or Southampton?

One word mate. Complacency. The so-called top 4 or 5 had it easy for too long and thought it was a gimme
They stood still while others improved. Especially us.

Leicester have got to win it now. Would be the perfect ending to a phenomenal season!

Arsenal lost the title along time ago, they won't win another one while Wenger is in charge, thats for sure.

Partly because we and City got complacent, and United and Arsenal have a couple of bell ends in charge.
Spurs have spent LOADS of money by the way. Quarter of a billion in the last 5 years.
Course alot of that was offset by monster deals they got for Bale, Berbatov and Modric, but they have spent a **** load.

Name is Kante.. N'Golo Kante - This season's Matic!!
It is pathetic how the CM/ DM role is discriminated in Player of the season awards.
Most important role in the team & best players in that position get their team the title year in year out.
Vardy is not missed at all.

    Forget Pogba, go for Kante!!

So, will chelsea try and beat Leicester or throw the match deliberately to give them three points to stop Spurs?
