I dislike Pulis and his style of football intensely. It's almost anti-football.

If possible, we need to get an early goal against WBA. That would force them to come out, then we should beat them comfortably.

I think time has shown that he plays the type of football he thinks his squad is capable of.

At Stoke, he played Huthball and tripods with cannonball throws because of the ability of his squad.
That near season he had at Palace, not only was their turnaround in form superb but they were
actually playing good football too because of the ability of that squad.

So given that he appears to have reverted to older ways is IMHO more of an indictment on the WBA
    squad than anything.

Yep. He's a very good manager, similar to Allardyce. It's why neither struggles to get a job.

    I agree mate.

Pulis is the smasher of dreams. The script is as you called it. They'll park 2 buses and try and mug them on the counter or via a set piece.

I hear what you're saying, but I still believe that Pulis is a very, very limited manager. He's good at what he does and that's why he gets work. He takes over clubs that are struggling and sets them up to be hard to beat. But pretty it ain't, or ever has been.

He pulls every dirty trick in the book. His players are constantly trying to intimidate or bully the more creative of the oppositions players. If that doesn't work, they just try to cripple them instead.

Sorry, but football in general would be far better off without the Pulis' of the world.

... can't be said to happen often Now Spluttering ... but I wholly agree ... I will happily pay money to watch players like Riyad Mahrez in action irrespective of the result (obviously I prefer a win) ... I would soon get bored watching the likes of James McLean clattering the opposition flair players at every opportunity etc ...

Reading through the thread, I sense that A87 is still experiencing significant butthurt about the events of this season, and has stirred all the others up into an argument too.
