Not much of a day out for fans of these clubs. Watford must be less than 20 miles and Palace about the same. Surely more of an occasion if they had to travel to Old Trafford and make a weekend of it?
Yes they must be gutted they don't have to travel a great distance and then wonder if they can get back due to the crapness of our railway system, spending a load of money for the privilege.
Could be one of the great away trips for them. Crazy train times, a b&b in Stalybridge or Ordsall, best fish n chips they ever tasted etc Gotta be better than another Oyster card debit and home for the Antiques Roadshow.
If they are anything like some of our fans they will be leaving early if they have to travel that far.
