    Ranieri...! <laugh>

This is ace. He finally caves in at the end, too.

We have the hardest run out, playing Spurs and City.....though Liverpool have European matches to distract them. West Ham are unbeaten in last 5, but 4 were draws....so they are our best chance of going up a place. It could come down to GD....pity we didn't beat Villa by 6.

I assume you aren't going to be happy when we sign him in the summer following Newcastle's relegation?

I'm not "in the know" or anything just have a hunch, purely based on how many times we have been linked to him in the past and knowing that we have watched him a couple of times. Lets just hope that the couple of times we have watched him he was ****, I'd say our chances of that are pretty great.

I've never been a fan of his, but until the last 10 games or so, every Newcastle fan I've come across has raved about him. I think he may be that classic attacking full back who people love because he is always forward helping out play but completely overlook how poor he is defensively. I've said it before and I'll say it again Mbemba is the player we want from Newcastle.

I'm just putting it down to the fact that he's dutch, and our RB position is far from nailed down. But yes, safe to say that Janmaat is certainly not on my radar. And I hope he's not on ours. Such a bad defender. (But who knows, maybe Ron will be able to get hold of him and teach him how to defend. And maybe due to Ron's status as one of Holland's top defenders, Janmaat might take on board what he is taught).

Also worth pointing out that Anita has a goal and an assist from RB whilst covering for Janmaat. So they've not even missing his attacking ability. That's how bad Janmaat is, a CM is doing better than him at RB.

Wilshere on the bench for Arsenal, if he can stay fit for the last few games will be off to the Euros I'd imagine

Yeah this season and last I don't think I've heard one Newcastle fan have anything but bad words to say about him.

To be fair to him he was really good for England playing a deeper role before he got injured, admittedly against some poor opposition. It is one thing Roy does though, he picks players who have performed for him, rather than how they are currently performing at their club. It is why Welbeck is an almost certain starter in whatever forward line Roy goes with.

If Henderson is out then I think Wilshere has a very good chance of making the squad.

So if Wilshire is on the bench how long before he falls off claiming a foul whilst rolling around?

He has been good for England, but he also hasn't played for ages.

I'd take wilshere, he's easily our best midfielder behind alli.

Yedlin is having a good game, worth a look if Sunderland go down?
