Balkan, be a realist… do you/ can you honestly see this squad amassing 40 points in thePremiership… ?…
I'd love to see us promoted, naturally. Would I be disappointed if we didn't? Yes and no. Yes because with this squad it should be a forgone conclusion. No because I don't mind the Chamoionship so much.
If you mean legitimate tv, possibly, I don't know. I do know most if not every Prem game is available to watch live.
I want us to go up this season as it will probably be the best chance we have of going up for years, that's the reality of it.
But Allam doesn't understand football or a fan's identity with his team. He understands the marine generator business.
If we don't go up the ****s will still be here at the end of next season. But should we be promoted, well there's a small chance someone would buy the ****s out. It's only a small chance though. Assem might die, there is that, but Ehabastard would still be here (unless we can raise enough cash for Carmine to hang him from a meat hook). I believe it's the Premier league or we're doomed. Another stint in the lower leagues would be inevitable, and I don't see any good reason why we would get back up. Ffs, even if we do gain promotion this season, we'll definitely come straight back down. But I see promotion as our only hope of attracting new owners and even then, it's a slim chance. Look at Villa. If no one wanted them, why would they want us? And if anyone wanted to buy a championship club, wouldn't they look at the likes of TWS before looking at us? I really miss the 4th division. Things were much simpler there, we were **** and we knew we were. What a ****ing mess...
**** that. The 4th division was **** and an embarrassment that we ever had to play in it. It's a RL mentality, being a flat track bully against small towns way below our size. Whatever else is wrong with City, it's not as ****ed up as Leeds and their rotting ground. Ours is well maintained and doesn't need tens of millions spent on it- the only problem is we don't own it, which puts investors off. Isn't that right Assem?
More chance of somebody buying TWS as they know in the PL they would sell out every week. Of course finding out who owned their ground would be a help. Wednesday were an attractive proposition as they too have a good following. Charlton would be a more attractive proposition than us, larger ground, situated in London, wouldn't cost a lot. Not owning the ground didn't stop someone coming in for Swansea.
Seemingly the kids parties there are quite good. They do add a surcharge to eryc types, to cover the additional cost of removing the agricultural residue, such as aroma, tractors chewing up the walkways and livestock in the toilets. It shouldn't matter, there'll be an EU subsidy to cover it somewhere. PS, he said club, not stadium.
Leeds capacity is 37890. In the likely event of them getting up to the PL their gates would soon drop again as they got thrashed on a regular basis, and the novelty wore off. Their ground is a dump and needs many millions spending on it to bring it up to PL standard. Wednesday, like their city neighbours, have very loyal fans, and not sure if gates would increase much on that basis.
I am in the don't really care either way group. Sad to say!!!! If we stay down we'll have nice away days like Huddersfield and their scheme will fall flat on it's arse (Great). If we go up they might sell (great) but somehow I doubt it and all the premier league whores will return to save his scheme. Perhaps the best chance we have and the question we should be asking is, how long has the old man got left on this earth. Anyway I'll be their Tuesday, watching on tv next week (or may make last minute decision to attend) and possibly in the west upper if momentum builds against Rotherham. 2 play off matches and I truly will not be sad if we aren't in the final. What has he brought me to?? First class ****er.
No cos I don't think you'll give it back. Why do people keep saying if we don't go up the membership scheme will fail?
They've just reduced the prices for approx 70 per cent, according to their figures, season pass holders. Price is everything.
They've also just pissed 99% of their 'customers' off, according to my figures. The customer knows best.
