4 goals for one side was a popular total today.

 

Just had a pick through the Liverpool v Newcastle match, on Footballorgin, and Toon looked a different side today. First half they were undone by two excellent goals [watch them later on MOTD], but their heads didn't go down, and they plugged away with some decent football. In the end they were fully worthy of their 2-2 and if they'd won Liverpool could not really have complained.

 

Someone seems to have thrown on the light switch. They were very good against City, as well...could ultimately be out of their hands with both Sunderland and Norwich having more matches remaining, but they look a side capable of getting six points from Palace and Villa.

 

Their fortunes have changed since Janmaat got injured...

 

If Sakho has failed a drug test Liverpool have had an unfair advantage and therefore should be docked say.... 5 points

 

And WHU should be docked half a dozen points for fleecing the taxpayer over the Olympic Stadium. Only seems fair.

 

And Man Utd should be docked 5 points for not starting Morgan Schneiderlin often enough.

 

Fair enough. How many points do we take off Spurs? Lots of room for manoeuvre there.

 

Wasn't there an article a while back that we've got the most good looking attack in the Premiership? Surely that deserves at least 10 extra points.

 

Well, we've certainly got the best looking fans...

 

And Leicester should be docked 50 points because Vardy looks like Harold Steptoe.....

 

I'll be ecstatic with just the three on May the 8th.

To be fair, we don't have much competition in that department.

So it looks like our Europa league future is largely in the hands of Swansea and West Brom. Both play West Ham and Liverpool in the next few fixtures. Swansea's form has been decent but need Brom to really turn things around if we are going to gain ground on 6th and 7th.
