Could be a true story, could not, you'll have to decide for yourself, haha.

Nah mate too long looking at camels hoof's and spanials ears. (If you knew my missus you'd know what I mean)

Platforms and railways is my professional life, not my spare time.

BTW how sad is this, a tool we use to design railways is based on the fact that theres a camera in in the drivers cab of a train that records a drivers view of the journey and we can access it to get a view of the section of track we have to redesign ()saves money on site visits). Some sad ****ers in the office where I work, use it at dinner time to go on journeys from say Birmingham new street to Manchester picadilly and can't understand why I rip the piss out of them for taking their job too seriously.

I think I get what you mean with your delicate metaphors... Hard lines.

As for the last paragraph I have only two words to say... HA HA.

Mate. you have no idea some of the sad ****ers I work with. I'm in my mid 30's and I'm there cos it's a ****ing well paid job but those guys take it so serious it's scary (it's not a job it's a life style). for example one guy collects slivers of wood from sleepers on sections of track that he's visited in a professional capacity. Sad as ****, but it does make me the most normal guy in my department which is something that I'm not used too.

I can never tell whether you're actively trying to make me hate you or just doing it by accident...

    That's a bit harsh mind.

I worked very hard to get to a position where i don't have to work hard, if that makes sense?

There's still a stress involved, if summat fails, i look a ****ing idiot, touch wood things are ticking over at the minute.

Don't touch wood while working and staring at boobs... Sexual harassment battles are a ****ing nightmare.
