ILD - if you have any evidence of that at all, I´d love to see it, because otherwise I still refuse to believe that he wasn´t told to resign by McNally. Why else would they invent such a ridiculous position for him to return to, for contrary to Cromer´s assertion, I can´t believe McNally is the sort to allow his hand to be forced by ANY manager, let alone a 1st timer like Adams. I think they thought, him ´resigning´ was the kindest way to get rid of him, after his long NCFC career, in various capacities. If I´m doing him an injustice and it was for health reasons, then I beg his pardon, but then why didn´t he, or the club, make it clear at the time. There would certainly be no reason not to, in fact there would have been every reason to, that way he would have been assured 100% respect, admiration and sympathy for making the decision. And no-one would have needed to go into any more detail than Adams himself wished to have revealed.
Speculation. "I still refuse to believe". Your opinion! Speculation, "I can't believe". Your opinion! Speculation. "I think". Your opinion! Speculation. "There would certainly be no reason not to". Your opinion! Precisely....... I am aware of the reason and its personal to Neil Adams, so in answer to your question, NO I can't show you evidence! I would ask you the same question about your comments.
As you said yourself ILD, not so long ago, http://www.not606.com/threads/anyone-think-norwich-can-stay-up.327315/page-2 #30 , we´re all entitled to our own opinions. And as I also said above, if it was for health reasons, then I beg Adams´ pardon, and will happily do so, unconditionally, but I don´t have to be convinced, just because you say it is so.
I dont deny you your opinion, but what you're saying about this subject is not correct or factual in any way.
But I never once said it was correct. To say, I think this, or I can´t believe that, is just voicing an opinion. You say you have proof, fine, I´ve already given him my apology. It´s getting late here, night night.
This is FACT and not SPECULATION, Ipsquit cannot now make the play offs. See, good news. Top three teams all on same points total. Mental.
I think I might have a cheeky £5 on the Owls to get promoted - maybe add in GH to score at Wembley!!! Could be a hoot!!!!! <getscoatemoticon>
I for one would not shed a tear if we were playing Championship football next term. One can overdose on prima donnas and celebrity managers and the reality of the Championship is solid. We could almost be better off with an intermediate league and let the elite play with some others on the continent.
It would be a far more competitive division without the 'big six' top teams but including the top six championship sides instead, I for one wouldn't shed a tear if it happened - basically just enlarging and fine-tuning the Champions League as it stands at present to become a permanent top European league . Bring it on!
And hopefully then we can have more Saturday 3pm kick offs, as Sky/BT would want to concentrate their efforts on the revamped CL!!!
But then, unfortunately, the mega bucks would follow them. We, and our fellow "lesser" teams would be overlooked as not relevant in the great Sky pantheon.
So what? At least we'd compete in a fairer league where virtually none of the participants are wedged up enough to lay out £30m, £40m, £50m a week on a single player. With astronomical wages to match. Plus we invariably struggle in front of the Sky cameras, so our results would surely improve if we weren't televised at all?
If this super league were to happen, it would be essential to limit the number of players on a team's books to prevent the mega-rich teams buying all and sundry, just to prevent them going to another team!
